a shower. state officials relented and are allowing her to return home to maine. she was quarantined friday after arriving in newark airport. she spent a month in sierra leone working with ebola patients. after showing signs of a fever she has been tested negative twice for ebola. still some guidelines need to be in place. there's a world wide fear because we do not have a cure for the virus. >> the department of public health officials point out that our mandatory quarantine is different from york and new jersey. only high risk medical personnel who left had direct contact with the bodily fluids of an ebola patient or a corpse would be subject to the mandatory quarantine. even if they showed no

13-year-old kobe jones was shot several times while standing outside his home on friday. a neighbor and his girlfriend were arrested. police say the neighbor was upset because his home had been robbed and shot jones when the teen laughed about the burglary. according to the "indiana post tribune" police are having trouble getting witnesses who saw the shooting to come forward and help in the investigation. a man accused of shooting an off-duty cook county correctional officer is due in court today for a bond hearing. 21-year-old james tillman of the 12 - hundred block of west hastings street is facing attempted murder, aggravated battery and other charges. hastings is accused of shooting a 34- year-old officer early sunday, while trying to hijack a car in the 79 - hundred block of south paulina. the officer was wounded in the hand.. he was taken to christ medical center in oak lawn. >>a long search is over after far north suburban emergency personnel recover a body from a lake. witnesses say they
