a man approached uniformed secret service agents yesterday. saying he had driven all the way from the quad cities to d-c because someone had told him to go to the white house. agents searched his car and found a hunting rifle and ammunition. renae kapheim of davenport, iowa is charged with possessing an unregistered weapon. he never made it inside the white house. >>a swedish court has denied wikileaks founder julian assange's request to dismiss an arrest warrant against him on charges of rape and sexual molestation. he's been living in the ecuadorian embassy in london for more than two years to avoid extradition to sweden.. where two women accused him of sexually assaulting them in 2010. assange claims the charges against him are false and politically motivated and says he's afraid sweden will transfer him to the united states. he could face the death penalty in the u-s if he's charged and convicted of publishing government secrets through wikileaks. >>a high-ranking "takata" executive testifies on capitol hill this morning. saying there's no support for a nationwide recall of its airbags. but, he did

apologize for at least five deaths and any injuries. >> we are deeply sorry and much of the airbag is not performed as designed. 54 passenger has suffered personal injuries. >>"takata" is recalling some airbags because they can spray pieces of metal when they're deployed in an accident. the company's only targeting vehicles in two states and two terriritories with humid climates. but, the national highway traffic safety administration says the recall needs to extend nationwide. >> is oman's attorney general fossils' lawsuit. the state is seeking about $3 million. general motors has been hit with several lawsuits this year. ever since announced they were recalling more than 2.5 million vehicles for ignition switch problems. 300 dozen or registered in arizona. committed

"my credit health" and "score sense" were marketed through at least 50 websites, including "freescore 360 dot com." the scheme lured consumers with free access to their credit scores then billed them a recurring fee of $29.95 for a program they didn't order. now, the f-t-c and illinois officials have reached a settlement, in which the companies must pay 22 million dollars in damages to their victims. graco is voluntarily recalling 11 stroller models with an external sliding fold-lock that could potentially pinch a child's finger. posing a laceration or amputation hazard.

the recall includes eleven graco and century-branded strollers with model names aspen, breeze, capri, cirrus, glider, kite, literider, sierra, solara, sterling and travelmate. they were sold between august 1st, 2000 and november 19th, 2014. graco has received 11 reports of finger injuries. the company is offering a repair kit at no cost. for more information log on to our website, wgn- tv.com/weblinks. >> jetblue planes are about to get even more cramped. the airline is cutting leg room and adding new charges as part of an overhaul to save 400-million dollars a year. less legroom allows the airline to add an additional 15- seats to each flight. it will still offer customers the option to pay for more legroom. jetblue will also begin charging for the first checked bag on some cheaper flights. people who pay a higher fare will still be able to check-in one or two bags for free.old navy is under fire for the way its sells and prices its plus-size line. customers online noticed the store were charging extra for plus-size women's clothes but not for men. some plus-sized women's apparel
