children are badly hurt when things take a tragic turn and cement truck. in fact investigators say it was a head-on crash. tonight they are searching for clues a to what caused crash. it left an 8-month-old boy on life support. night team sue tan tran is in oxford tonight. >> kim, there is that 8-month-old and two-year-old who remain in the hospital fighting for their lives a police try to figure oh exactly what happened. as for neighbors they say this is a dangerous stretch of road. there ifs curves a crest and also solar glare. all of these things could electric contributed to why this woman drove right into that dump truck. >> the car unrecognizable. the woman who was driving killed. the two babies fighting for their lives. sounded like dynamite went offi heard big bang. monday morning crash in oxford so intense, it could heard blocks away. >> i heard a lot bang. all of sudden we heard this boom, and then screech.

state police say woman driving the car on route 20 for some reason crossed center line and crashed head-on into the cement truck. the sedan then hit the mercedes suv. >> you see in sides of the truck and you know, just hoping it wasn't a bad as it was. looking up the road and shaking my head. saying oh my gosh. >> this is bad. >> the cement truck flipped on its side. it's wheels several feet away. in the middle of the two lanes a child's car seat, and beyond that, the two cars. >> this is worst one i've ever seen neighbor who ran out and saw the driver of the truck says he was distraught. he said i think i kyled somebody. >> it took hours to right the truck and clean up the road. truck dreyer along with two people in mercedes were all taken to hospital and expected to be just fine. but for neighbors who live along the route 20, it is just, speed, speed, speed they say a dangerous stretch that needs to be fixed

anyone that lives mere police are continuing their investigation. they've yet not released name sturbridge woman who was driving. we're live in oxford tonight susan tran, 7 news night team. now we're following a developing story at 11, cell phone video from south carolina shows an officer violently dragging a teenage girl out of a classroom. the night team brandon gunnoe news i live more school district is now investigating to figure out fwhapd that classroom. video shows officer grabbing student as you can see just slams her to ground while she's sitting in her desk. then seen pulling her from the chair and throwing her to another part of the room. the officials say the local sheriff is out of town but abut he has seen this video. >> he was very disturbed by what as a matter of fact he has questions just like everybody else does. and, he wants answers to those questions. >> once he has these answers, he will address them. administrative leave.

this brings an end to crime spree that when up and down started in massachusetts at the end of september. police say joseph carrier robbed a bank on center street and told teller he had a gun and demanded all large bills. after that invest garts say they were spotted in florida, holding up a wells fargo bank and getting away with cash there. and then, a few weeks ago, investigators say the carriers hit bank in maryland. each robbery police carrier investigators were very concerned about the fact that duo could be very dangerous. >> that all ended today when a letter delaware state police officer spotted the stolen suv. tonight that couple facing charges in 4 states plus federal investigators are involved in this investigation unclear when charges. in control room ryan schulteis. >> people in malden are mourning loss of a teenager killed in a car crash. >> alex vitale was senior at malden catholic high school. 17 years old he was an honor student. a volunteer with campus ministries competed on high school swim team.

and worked with disabled children. the vitale's car somehow lost control and hit telephone pole in peabody sunday night. police are still investigating exactly what might have contributed to the crash. >> break in the case for police investigating a deadly hit and run in saugus. officials say they have seized a car they believe may have hit man on route one last night. 33-year-old from new york died at the hospital a short time after being struck. investigators are still working to figure out who was behind the wheel. authorities in taunton say they've determined what caused a massive house explosion. look at these flames. they say the homeowner accidentally left open a gas valve while trying to repair her hot water heater yesterday. so the basement filled with natural gal. and then exploded into flames. 58-year-old homeowner did make it out safely but you could see home nothing left of that woman called to cuter accused killing her uncle. 36-year-old yvonne lewis after refusing to leave her cell. police say she shot her uncle saturday night at her parents's house and then stole his car and

winds out east southeast and then south, southwest eventually bringing that mild air. so it's wednesday that we see this unfold. with the rain moving in first and wind kicking up through the afternoon, eventually we will get a warm front through here. looks like worst part of storm heaviest rain strongest winds will be overnight on wednesday night. with the possibility of some thunderstorms. some of which could be strong and put down some pretty intense wind gusts too to 40 to 50 miles per hour too. yeah that warm that we will actually get a thunderstorm. and widespread one to two inches of rain when we talk about thunderstorms that's wild card. pockets of two to three. that wind could gust over 40 miles an hour at the coast and elsewhere, 30 to 35. so, all of this gone though by time we get to pats game, 8:25 in evening on thursday. still pretty mild. there still a wind though that will be out west, southwest at that point. and, be gust been maybe gusts over 30 miles an hour. mostly clear at that point too. clear and cold tonight. 24 to 37.

get her out of the way. you could see bus scrape a street pole and that's when sara ran to help. >> i just, kicked her foot off the gas we like slowed down then i tried to reach my foot in to get the brake then we stopped right before the pole. there were about a dozen passengers on the bus. they told emergency workers they were stopped at the red light on huntington avenue and tremont then brigham circle just below mission hill they noticed bus driver began to shake. and top left you can see the bus start to lose control. i didn't want no one to get hurt i didn't want myself to get hurt no other people. people walking i don't didn't want no one to get hit stop bus. either way i knew to spring into action and to help people, you know. it worked. after scraping street pole the bus finally came to stop passengers were shook up of course but everyone was okay. i didn't want her to step on the gas. that was my main thing when i was on bus i was afraid i didn't want her to step on the ga and go forward into the building over there. >> and hurt us all. >> so not on my watch.
