i couldn't see close enough to see what fire department. if someone's watching. >> that's an extra 30, 40 poundings. >> the tank, the jacket and the helmet. amazing. >> last hour we heard such a great interview, tom brokaw sat down with brad and angelina. they are promoting their first film together in 10 years and they talked about everything from their marriage, they got married a year ago, and how angelina's health problems brought them closer together as a family. in march of this year she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed and followed having the mastectomy after her gene mutation. here is what she told tom. >> there is no vanity to my wife's approach. mature, there was excitement to where this is our life, we're going to make the best of it. there is strength in that. it's another one of those things in life that makes you tighter,

and her family, so said we could be together, was trumped everything, and anything. >> i think for as much as he speaks about my strength, i knew that he made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart and capable and cared about her family, it wasn't about -- it's not about the physical body. i knew through the surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn't something where i was going to feel less of a woman because my husband wasn't going to let that happen. >> they make a powerful team. she said it. absolutely. they also talked about married life and one of the things that came up was i guess angelina joked she felt she should cook more at home. brad is not into her cooking. >> so now you are a married couple. certified. and angie told me that shortly after you got married she

taking a look at the headlines, and e. coli outbreak has shut down dozens of chipotle restaurant on the west coast. at least 22 people have become sick from e. coli, but health officials are expecting that number to grow while they investigate the cause of the infection. the chain has closed 43 locations in washington and oregon. officials say the source is likely a fresh food product that was shipped to the stores. investigators in pennsylvania and new jersey are still trying to figure out who put needles into candy bars that were handed out to trick-or-treaters. at least four children received tampered candy, but thankfully no one was hurt. authorities say they don't know whether the candy was altered by

treats or by someone at a store or the manufacturer. a growing number of prominent doctors, scientists and government agent significance around the world are urging parents to limit the amount of time their children spend on smartphones. they warn the phones emit a form of radiation similar to a low powered microwave oven. cell phone providers say they follow all fcc guidelines but those standards were developed nearly 20 years ago. critics say they are outdiscriminate dated. some sad news this morning, former senator and actor fred thompson who is died. he served as a u.s. senator for eight years and ran for president in 2008, but many will remember him from his role as a district attorney on the show "law & order" and for movies like "hunt for red october" and "cape fear." thompson died from a reoccurrence of lymphoma. he was 73 years old. movie-goers were apparently scared away from movie theaters this halloween weekend. according to early estimates, it

for the year so far. "the martian" though came out winner pulling in $11.4 million. "goosebumps" was second and "bridge of spies" was third. take a look at this dramatic video of a sky diving trip gone wrong this. happened in peru, and you can see the sky diver just dangling from underneath that plane at about 10,000 feet in the air. his jumpsuit got stuck on the plane's steps, on the steps and he was up there for 30 minutes while they figured out what to do. eventually the sky diver was able to cut himself loose with a knife, and he landed safely suffering only a cut to his hand, but it is truly remarkable that he made it down safely. let's get a check of the weather right now from mr. roker. hey, al. >> perfectly working airplane just me. anyway, as we take a look at week ahead here's what we expect early part of the week wet weather through the southeast. mountain snows in the pacific sierra. they need it.
