this is from new hampshire. foliage in full swing on some of the tree, oaks and beeches are putting on a good show as they do but we've tremendous leaf drop across northern and southern new england. tenacious. they get every where. they're in the vents in the car and anyway, 71 after high temperatures in the lower and mid 70's a georgous day that won't be equaled until friday. another day we'll surge to the low and mid 70 although winds will be a little brisker then and i do believe we'll see more clouds, too, on that particular day. so this might have been the prize winner of the entire week. clouds will pretty much stay out of the picture for tomorrow but we'll see the temperatures sink a little bit. our coolest readings will be from rockport to marblehead as temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60, salisbury about 61. we go to lowell and back into hudson, mass and hudson, new hampshire, about 65-66.

then from framingham to wellesley, 60s. along the coastline, duxbury, plymouth, plimpton down to sandwich and mashpee, temperatures in the lower 60s to around 60. what is happening? high pressure is slipping away eventually. it's a pleasant day tomorrow but a warm front is coming in as we go in thursday. it passes by and gets us back into the milder air. in a is not a bad day either but there might be some sprinkles that move up and get shaken up across new england. southern new england as that warm front passes. then on friday it's a much windier day. we'll wait for the front to cross, that does cool us off as we get into the weekend, too, our temperature trend is down by the weekend. but it's steady climb to friday as we hit the low 70s and go for a record. the record to beat is 73 on friday. we're going to snap it or tie it. 30% chance of a shower on thursday and friday. these are not washed out days. nor are they rainy days.

school setting it was extremely traumatic because i thought i'm going to die in the school cafeteria in front of my 9 and 10-year-old students. >> reporter: she is episodes choking so severe that her throats closes have been happening for the last few years but she never saw a doctor. >> it's one of the things putting off. until it happened again. >> reporter: after that incident she was taken to the emergency room. problem. one of her arteries was pushing against her esophagus causing trouble swallowing. >> it's one of the common anomalies, it probably happens in 1-2% of all symptomatic. >> reporter: maryland was transferred for surgery. surgeons said they had neff seen a case like hers before. >> you don't see a lot of surgeons when you have a chance to do something new, exciting. >> reporter: after studying her scans they figured out a way to reroute the artery and take the

pressure off. it took two surgeries then three months of recovery but maryland came back to school this fall. >> can i hear everybody? >> reporter: as was joined by her doctors who today her students with her condition. >> it was nice to come back and reassure the kids her teacher is going to be fine. >> i would like to do anything i can to give back to all the people that helped me. i knew my students would love see the physicians. and bring some awareness to other people about choking issues. >> reporter: doctors say those two surgeries completely resolved the throat problem. >> ryan: in the buzz ben affleck ready to roll in boston. he gives fans a sneak peek
