flight butussian and egyptian officials, well, they've disputed that claim the past few days and now a shocking reversal from the united states. intelligence officials here finding evidence that points to explosives on board and that isis, or at least a group that sympathizes with isis, likely planted the bomb. investigators are still examining the plane's black boxes hoping to find more clues as to what happened on board earlier today. british officials stopped all flights out of the sinai peninsula in egypt. the bomb killed all 224 people on board on saturday and of course we'll keep you updated as we learn more. i'm adam williams, 7news. we're also following breaking news from boston's south end. boston police confirm two elderly women were hit by a car this afternoon. it happened on tremont street at westbrook line. the injuries are said to be serious and possibly life-threatening. also breaking a bad accident on route 20 in oxford. state police say the westbound side of the road is closed.

the cars involved are pretty smashed up. no word yet on what caused that crash. also on 7, leaders in burlington coming together to give a mosque a new look. this after two teens are being charged with vandalizing the islamic center. >> police say they spray paimentd usa on the mosque over the weekend and now leaders are retagging the walls with some positive messages. john coco has the latest from burlington. >> reporter: covering up hate after the mosque was defaced over the weekend. its members many others are now using art to bring them closer to their community. peace. >> reporter: early sunday morning, the burlington islamic center was tagged with usa, mosque. eggs were also thrown at it, the mass culprits were caught on building. two 18-year-olds cameron copella and derek demoan were arrested and now charged with malicious destruction of property. >> it's a wider network of friends, colleagues and neighbors in burlington and they

>> we lament that the fence of safety and security, which we all value, has been undermind. >> reporter: turn this negative on its head, islamic center hosted an interfaith event entitled we are americans. this time bringing their own tools to, in a way, retag the walls with their own positive messages before they get repainted. >> which started as a sign of intimidation is going to be turned around to a siphon inclusion. >> reporter: a way to heal in the face of hate. >> the act took place here this past weekend and was a dark moment for our town but one that we'll use to shine the light on the problem. >> reporter: for the two suspects, this is just a harmless prank. but for the islamic center it's much more. it's a hate crime, and they'd like to see it charged as such. as of right now, that's not the case. in burlington, john cocoa, 7news. burlington police released video of the crime caught on camera showing two men robbing a local eyeglass store in the middle of the day.

the store's owner and manager confronted one of the suspects who ran out of the store punching the manager in the face. the owner says she can't believe something like this can happen. >> we don't feel safe because this is supposed to be a very safe area and i don't understand somebody in the daylight they can do that kind of -- i would category like a robbery. >> the owner says her manager can barely open her mouth and recovering at home from her jaw injury. sky 7hd over a fire in quincy and a building there earlier today, you can see the thick white smoke coming from the roof there. no word yet on any injuries or what caused that fire. state police add a methuen man to their most wanted list. 34-year-old antigua a con is wanted for a murder in lawrence. in may he allegedly shot and lawrence. police have been searching for that suspect but say he has up to six aliases and put tough to track down. they say he should be considered armed and dangerous. a girl is in the hospital

the pitbull nearly to that girl's ear off. the girl was attacked inside a fall river apartment. a witness says the girl is expected to recover but may have permanent damage to her ear. >> a good 7 minutes that dog had the baby in his mouth. ear was pretty much like severed, like it was awful. like pretty much severed, and you could see the skull on the back of the head. >> the tried is being treated at hasboro children's hospital in providence and the family does not plan to bring the dog back into the apartment. connecicut police are calling off their plan to teach drivers a tough lesson about locking their car doors at night. officers had been taking valuables out of unlocked cars and leaving a note behind that told the car owners to pick up the items at their local police station. the city of new havens' attorney advised the police department to put the trial program on hold. the proposal had been under fire by concerned citizens since it was introduced earlier this week. two teenaged girls facing charges after a bus brawl in

florida. police officer. they say it happened as authorities were trying to break up a fight on a school bus. that's when the girl suddenly jumped in. >> reporter: the brawl in the back started between a group of boys against one. the driver radios dispatch for help as the boys jump off the back and the fight explodes outside. >> reporter: police board the bus and remove two boys. outside and off camera, officers had to physically take down one of the boys and that's when students started yelling, including two girls in back. again, officers tried to regain control on the bus and then one girl pushes back and then another before both teen girls were arrested for hitting and kicking officers. [ inaudible ] >> sit down, put the windows up now or you're gonna go to jail! >> reporter: police say the two boys involved in the original fight were not arrested because neither wanted to press charges.

took care of bobbi kristina brown. they say she tricked a hospice care facility and wasn't even an actual nurse. the woman was in charge of caring for bobbi kristina brown. she is facing several charges including identity fraud. she was found unresponsive in her townhome's bathtub. the kentucky county clerk who went to jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to appeal. kim davising and the court to reverse rulings. among the rulings, 18 junction forcing davis to issue same-sex marriage licenses and holding her in contempt of court. davis has let her deputies issue licenses since her released as long as her name isn't on them. outrage in chicago after a young model is gunned down in a drive-by shooting. police say the 20-year-old was crossing the street when she was shot and killed. investigators believe she was the main target here saying the

shooting may have been gang related. a 15-year-old boy was also shot and in constitutional rights can condition. right now police do not have any suspects. a truly bizarre kidnapping in washington state where a great grandmother is forced into the trunk of her own car for hours by three teenagers. police say the suspects kidnapped the 86-year-old woman and drove nearly 200 miles while she was still in the trunk. she was able to escape when the car stopped at a walmart. police initially thought the teens were longone but eventually found them a few hours later. they face several charges. no word on why the woman was targeted. a shocking strike in brooklyn, new york, caught on camera. surveillance video shows an out-of-service bus plow into a elderly woman as she crossed the street. police say the driver took off from there shortly after and now that driver is under arrest and off the job. >> reporter: take a look at woman in the green sweatshirt standing on a brooklyn street corner. she leans on her walker, looking both ways. seconds later, a city bus comes to a stop, traffic clears.

70-year-old carole bell begins to cross. she gets to the middle of fulton street. mel is hit by the bus on the driver's side. the bus driver pauses for three seconds, then continues down fulton treated before disappearing. witnesses were stunned by what they saw. >> bus plowed right through her. >> he stopped. i don't know whether he know, but he stopped and then he started going. i don't know what, because he was nervous or maybe he was -- i have no idea. >> reporter: this surveillance video of the crash in front of fulton lumber and supply will factor into the investigation. one of bell's close friends remembers the kind woman. >> she was a sweet lady. >> very sweet lady. >> reporter: jennifer gonzalez knew bell for years. she says the grandmother lived at magnolia house, a room in a shelter a block and a half from where she was killed. the bus driver has been charged with leaving the scene of the accident and suspended without pay. a man is dead after a hit

police say the suspect hit the victim's truck on the highway and sent it into a river there. investigators say the driver hit another car, as well. right now police are still searching for the suspect. deer drama in michigan when a wild animal gets trapped inside a home. the family says that deer jumped through a window and then started running all over the house destroying everything in its path,as i merit imagine. they were eventually able to trap that animal in the bedroom. it took authorities two hours to tranquilize that deer. all right, the wall of gum, yeah, there is one of these in seattle and it's finally going to be cleaned. it's been named one of the top two jempleyest tourist attractions in 20 years. it has an estimated 1 million wads of chewing gum covering it. after the wall is cleared next week, gum chewers can continue to decorate it. >> i don't know but, but i wouldn't to go very near that gummy wall. >> you take your gum out and put it on the wall and then, you know, you probably forget about

san diego california the suspect in an intense standoff has now surrendered. police say the man had been holed up inside his rooftop apartment, randomly firing agent police officers and responded to a domestic violence call. the incident had a big impact on air travel and their arriving flights were rerouted because the stand you've was in many planes' flight patterns. cooling off this evening about 54 degrees. our dewpoint reading at 46. the east wind knocking us back. this time last night we're still holding in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees but now that the sea breeze is in town, we'll cool off and then we'll just kind of drift down near 50 for the rest of the night. not much of a drop-off overnight in boston, at least warmth continues. near record on friday.

look at the readings start to fall in nashua and lawrence, marshfield now at 55. portsmith at 52 degrees. i don't think it'll be as cold as last night or the night before where we did see some low 30s in some of the suburbs and then we rocketed back close to 70 degrees. these temperature changes over the last couple of days have been incredible. i mean, for november, this is incredible stuff because you don't have a lot of daylight. it's not like we have a lot of warmth or sunshine to get us near 70 degrees. so this is a huge feat tomorrow where we approach 70 and then on friday we'll do it even with some cloud cover. that's telling you how warm this air mass is, how unusually warm it is across new england. starting off with some sunshine tomorrow, then the clouds approach, a warm front does, too. as we increase the humidity, we'll keep some clouds in the picture at least through friday. now, friday is a tough call. i think there will be a lot of clouds early on, we'll peel some of these back if we stay in the clouds, then we're not gonna make the record but i think we may break up some of those

clouds. the clouds may not break for you on cape cod or the islands across southeast mass because you bring in warmer air mass and the water temperatures are colder and they don't like each other. warm air masses and cold water temperatures makes a low cloud bank. front will cross on friday night with a shower or two. 9:00 to 10:00. if you're out razzle dazzling, you might get hit by a shower and that front will move off all the clouds and set us up for a pretty nice saturday. 66 in marblehead, 66 in rockport, 70s, we should be right there in salisbury and milton, back into lowell, right about 69 or 70 and then in framingham 72 . upper 60s and mid-60s out through cape cod and the islands, as well. southwest breezes. looking ahead at those clouds. see how they materialize. almost like you snap your fingers. an increase in humidity, that's all it is. and friday, here it is, 2:00 in the afternoon, these are breaks that the model tries to show in the forecast and the breaks in the overcast are significant if you're already in a warm air mass. 75 on friday in boston.
