kelly? >> repoer: that crash killing a 37-year-old driver on his way to work. police say the man responsible, they say he was driving drunk and road rage is to blame. the car flipped over on the truck. on route 140 or 145 . >> reporter: a 911 caller describing the scene of a deadly accident this morning. troopers say road rage is to blame. state police say a more ton man driving drunk hit a utility truck causing it to rollover. one man killed, another serious seriously hurt. investigators say the other driver took off and police arrested him a short while later later. there is one party still in the vehicle unconscious. they are both in the vehicle. is unconscious and the other responding. we can't see him. the other guy just talking but can't get out . for hours rescuers were on this off ramp trying to piece to the what happened. fire fighters tell 7 seeing an accident like this is never easy easy.

where the officers were pick up by the driver who came around the corner like these cars here and as they came around the corner, their action was caught there. it may be hard to believe what you are seeing. boston police officer hanging out of the side of a vehicle he take a look again. you can't see the other side of the suv, but police say another officer was dragged away on that side. the driver, 45-year-old bryant gilbert, was arraigned today on charges of assaulting officers . >> reporter: police say they tried to take ryan's keys away during a traffic stop for speeding on blue hill avenue. but they say bryant took off, dragging both officers about 100 yards until he crashed into a parked car. a security camera at a nearby business caught a few terrifying seconds of the car speeding by with at least one officer hang hanging outside the car. prosecutors say the officer

. a massive sinkhole in mississippi swallows up 15 cars. it opened up in the parking love of an i hop rest ran of the hole is about 50 feet wide and 600 feet long . >> anchor: i don't think i have ever seen that many cars in one spot. this damage is still sinking in for the car owners and the question, what caused it to open open?

christa delcamp looks into that. >> reporter: little is known about what caused a parking lot at i hop to cave-in but it certainly is creating talk in the city . oh my god. i mean, this is, right here in our hometown i never saw this before and i just devastating to me . >> reporter: the mayor percey bland who received word about what many are calling a sinkhole says he isn't sure what's going on but the city is taking every measure possible to make sure investigate. what we're trying to do right now and what we did last night was try to provide public safety to our citizens. we called mdot. they had to come out to do a compaction test from frontage road back south. every was fine so we opened back up frontage street and we're still in the fact finding process right now . >> anchor: mayor bland said the area that caved in was at one point a large come vermont. the video even shows the extent

overturned in what officials are saying is a 30 foot dropoff. initial estimates have it extend extending nearly 400 feet but if i are correcting that and saying it's 36 feet by 370 feet long. which is still cause for concern. didn't say i wouldn't consider it to be a sinkhole. we've never experienced a sinkhole. i don't know what you call it. i don't know what the definition of a sinkhole is. it's a problem. it's a major problem. but i'm not going to call it a sinkhole. i wouldn't call it a cave-in. i will call it an accident . >> reporter: mayor blond said he is proud of the response time from emergency responders that worked to prevent any further damage. as for by standers it's become a sight for them remember . any time i ever seen this, this is just incredible. i just never seen this before. nobody was hurt, officials say they hope to start getting all those vehicles out in the next few days. in the newsroom, christa delcamp 7 news. >> anchor: coming up next,

through cape cod our temperature in the middle 50's. some stations not reporting that's why they are missing. anyway, high clouds, driving in here they come. i still think we'll be able to manage to get into the 30's in some of the suburbs tonight before we see those clouds kind of envelope the whole area then stop that cooling process. clouds act as a blanket. now tomorrow the clouds will be with us but we'll get some raise of sun in here early, get us up into the mid and upper 50's. i would say mid 60's is pushing it in my book. i think 57 or 58 would be the top little on our temperatures before the rain showers catch up with us. don't they? they are moving out here going through virginia and pushing into delmarva right now. have you kate sitting here off of the bahamas and it looks like kate will stay as a separate entity. keep them separated as they say. but the wind advise advisory along the coastline is significant in that we will see gusts between 40 and 45 miles per hour between this time frame frame.

wednesday at 1:00 a.m. to wednesday at 4:00 p.m. late tuesday night into wednesday morning. low pressure goes by to the south but it intensifies just a little bit. just enough to keep those winds going and it looks like it tries to pull out of here on wednesday wednesday. i'm not taking anything away from veteran's day. hey i wanted sunny and beautiful too but it looks like it will be windy and the rain will give up too drizzle in the afternoon of the kind of a raw day all day and a raw deal for our veteran obviously. you like the sunshine. hire is the wave of rain that moves up and then it moves out. now when we get embedded in some of those downpours brief but moderate at times and we might get up to a quarter inch to 3/4 of an inch, maybe even nearly an inch on cape cod or a little over that. vineyard and chatham too but generally speaking half inch, 3/4 of an inch to nearly an inch with this weather system. so our temperatures dive on wednesday, that should be and friday. i switched it around because we had sunday night football. we went on at 12:30 last night
