>> a developing story tonight, all bets are off. another state shuts down online fantasy sites draft kings and fanduel. new at 11, a case of road rage in medford leads to a scary find inside a man's car. >> and imagine a world without at brady bunch as we know it here in new england. gisele opens up. why she almost broke it off with tom brady. now from the night team. 7 news at 11 starts now. all right first ats 11, clouds are storming in to new england right now. you seton the radar. it is going to be a wet and windy night. on november nor'easter heading in. it looks like it will stay that way through the morning commute. so we need to know if it will make it tough drive and when skies will clear. here is chief meteorologist. a sight of the storm in morning wind swept rain in morning hold hold on to steering wheel tight especially an along route one. winds will be gustiest. slowly dry out in afternoon. this is the band of rain that kind of just got our attention.

you can see it here, it's breaking up it is a moves up through massachusetts. and we have some gaps in the coverage. but this second leg right in here south of long island, is the part that we're concerned with in the morning. steady rain now moving up through cape aen into sea coast, new hampshire finally. rain is steady, but tapering a little bit right now in cape cod and south shore. but again, this is where we're seeing the heavier bands start to come together. the heart of storm. south of this right now temperatures are in the 60s and 1237b9s and dew points are in the 60s. mid 60s. so air is very soupy south of this low pressure system. we're never going to see that. just manufacturing a lot of rain here. that's the end game. you can see that come into screen here by morning between 6 and 7 o'clock. heavy rain seems to be focused on south shore. that's where we might pick up an inch to an inch and a half. maybe even close to two inches in heavy rain. then it starts to pull away as we go through the after noon tomorrow. all tolled against between an inch to an inch and a half. and that seems to be the limit. although some places may be an inch and three quarters.

but a good soaking we need it every drop. we'll talk about a drier forecast and long-term ahead. >> all right, and before you head outdoor in morning new england. bri, christa will have late edgest on storms and conditions on the road starting a 5:00 a.m. we're following a developing story, new york has just banned fantasy sites draft kings and fant duel. saying their operations amount to illegal gambling. ryan schulteis is outside draft king headquarters in boston with details now. >> kim, this is major set back tore draft kings. they are vowing tonight to fight back. >> fantasy sports websites fanduel and boston base draft kings dealt major blew new york attorney general ordered websites to stop taking bets in the state of new york, calling the games illegal gambling. they disagree with it, they are going to challenge it, former massachusetts attorney general martha coakley is now a legal advisor for draft kings. she says new york announcement caught them off guard. we bieve it's a game of skill.

i think he's reached the wrong conclusion by jumping to conclusions too quickly. sites have already been banned from doing business in nevada, but a ban in new york could hit them hard in time they are already facing intense jute knee. we're doing this with new york and all states, letting them know what our business model is, understanding the they may have a some questions about a consumers protection. we would work with them on that. sites came under more tension last month when it was revealed some employees may have used access to insider data to make bets. several states and f.b.i. started investigating. >> so about here in massachusetts? we did reach out to an attorney general maura healey tonight she says she has no comment on what happened in new york. live here in boston, ryan schulteis, 7 news night team. now new at 11 police arrest a man they say pulled this replica gun on woman during a case of road rage. brandon gunnoe is live in medford to tell bus this. brandon. >> adam, woman said that a man pointed a gun at her out of this car window after a road rage incident.

she actually followed that man so police could think catch up with her and arrest him. now troopers say that he is 20-year-old gary from a charleston. he pointed this replica handgun with the orange tip painted black to make the gun appear more real at that other driver. this happened today around 4:30. on ramp from route 93 northbound to a mystic avenue in somerville. 20-year-old was brought here to the state police barracks. he is charged with assault with dangerous weapon. evening though it is a fake gun. and disorderly conduct. >> we're told he's going to arraigned in court on thursday. that's latest live in medford, i'm brandon gunnoe, 7 news night team. now to the race for the what is house and republican candidates for president faced off on stage for fourth time tonight. this time milwaukee and things got a little feisty. tim caputo is here to give us a look. debate started off slow just about two hours ago which wrapping up as we speak. each candidate initially laying out their vision for the economy. but once again some of the

stage took on the leading gop candidates. >> in fourth republican debate conversations started on a timely topic. raising minimum wage. the three front runners were all against the idea. that's what we need to be thinking about. how do we allow people to ascend the ladder of opportunity rather than how do we give them dependent. people have to go out, this ef to work really hard and they strat um. if i thought raising minimum wage was best way to help people increase their pay i would all for it but it isn't in 21st century it's a disaster this debate centered on economy heated up when donald trump says he wants to deport every illegal governor and jeb bush disagreed. just not possible. and it's not embracing american values. and would tear communities apart. ohio governor con kay seven called trump deportation plan silly. we can't ship 11 million people out country.

stee spent much of his time attacking hillary clinton it appears he won that earlier debate. so big question tonight, which candidate helped their campaign tonight? who took a step back? our political editor arnd hiller gives us his instincts after last debate they an expected this to polite change of ideas about the economy. forget about it. >> there was a too much at stake. the candidates had to mix it up. i thought dr. ben carson was winner. his strength is his surround rent and he showed it again. he was an also cool, defending hi biography, crisply turning a challenging question to him into a criticism of hillary clinton. he didn't talk much, but he said enough. and ithe winner was marco rubino who as republican best debater. he is energetic and a passionate and powerful combination. he's also very clever. no one got the best of him. >> debates are zero sum which means if somebody wins somebody else has to lose. a couple of candidates in my

opinion crashed. jeb bush may have been biggest lofsh from the start he was frustrated even a little desperate. in a word uncomfortable. if this were a do or die debate for him then he died. once again i thought donald trump was a loser. mocking other candidates doesn't impress me. maybe viewers and voters will say he won this debate too. maybe i am blind to his brilliance. there were four our debater tonight alphabetically senator ted cruz carly fiorina, governor john kasich and senator rand paul. they each had moment not big enough i think to generate momentum. as republican field continues to shrink they are the ones most likely to be shrunk. >> now, from the night team, it just a massive explosion. a jet fall the sky. oh my god.

tonight, what caused this deadly crash. >> at least nine people were killed in that crash in akron, ohio. and tonight investigators are still going through the wreck age. elizabeth noriega is in our newsroom with what we know at this hour. stwres gators tell us there are no survivors on plane. as many nine people could dead after it came crashing down. no word on why this happened. but investigators are there trying to figure it out. >> fiery crash site thick black smoke and shell of what was once a home to several families. this is what's left after plane plows into an apartment building in akron, ohio. >> it ibs like we have a plane into a house. all happened just before 3 tuesday afternoon. witnesses say a ten seater ray thee on business jet seemed to fall from sky tripping over utility lines before crashing into this home that houses several apartments. the debris then set the neighboring building on fire. people nearby when it happened say it was terrifying. >> i just heard this big loud noise and plane just fell out

it just was a massive explosion. another neighbor was live chatting when a plane suddenly flash by her window. >> oh my god. >> i need to go to sleep. directly south. >> no one was in either building at the time. but no one on board survived. >> the plane game engulfed in flames which ignited the residents that originally struck. and then also continued on to another residence that was actually behind that house. >> a special team brought in tomorrow to investigate the crash site. authorities say the plane is mostly intact but severely under about. in newsroom elizabeth noriega, 7 news night team. following more news here tonight man charged deadly crash appearing in court today police say meek al hynes was drunk when he intentionally rammed his pick up truck into another truck. they say it was an act of road rage that he left the scene. crash happened on 495 yesterday

a lab here m in massachusetts working stay ahead game when it comes to detecting concussions. so the people at this lab have developed first ever blood test that can give a diagnosis just moments after impact. our sports director joe amorosino has the details on this break through. >> he loved it. he loves everything about it. stacy holland's son plays middle school football she knows it can get rough. i said don't hit him so hard. he said, he just like to see them when they bounce off the ground.

like most parents of young athletes she worries about the danger of concussions. hard to detect traumatic brain injury. players have been having concussions and dorchester high school coach brown says it is difficult to know on the sidelines if a player as concussion. a scientific break through for a test would be welcome. >> it would change things tremendously. this feels like science fiction when you think about the level of detext that you're doing in the blood. kevin is the ceo of the a massachusetts laboratory that is developing rocket science on blood. technology that can look for tell tale proteins revealing signs of trauma to the brain. >> what happens when you have a concussion, is your brain some of cells neurons get damaged they release some protein that is evident in cerebrospinal fluid. some of fluid leaks into blood and minute level technology can

pull information from it. he says scientific papers published about their early protein work caught the attention of the u.s. military. before long the nfl took notice as well. backing the research. and they quickly realized the impact it could have on athletes of all ages. you know that youth athletes, if they have a concussion, and then they return to play too quickly and then they have another injury, they could die. one the nation's top repetitive brain injury researchers dr. robert stearn in boston university is encouraged test could help save lives. >> having the ability to a measure changes in proteins right after an injury is going to be huge game changer impressive technology they hope to have it out of the lab by 2017. and plan to have portable dew texas kits available for use on the sidelines by that time as well.

in the newsroom joe amorosino, 7 news. >> now, 7 weather with chief meteorologist pete bouchard. >> 50 degrees in town right now dew point reading 47. northeast wind a 12 miles an hour tracking the rain, we have it on radar. it's all over the place now. spreading out. so dry air not an issue now. it's all about the wet weather. how about the rain, steady now on the south shore nothing terribly heavy even in long rain out in western mass up into southern new hampshire not all that bad. and out through cape cod it is just sprinkling right now winds are ramping up. we watch rain to the south now. this band this, first wave is coming up through the island. should be here in another 45 minutes to an hour. this will be first piece of more intense part of the storm. and then this is waiting for morning commute too. how does it get up here? it kind of pin wheels back and lifts typical coast will storm fashion. even though storm departs to the east it throws back a band of rain. here it comes, reds, orange and greens. what we're looking for heavy rain.

right through the south shore. in morning. not to say exactly here could right in boston through metro west. not favoring northern mass southern new hampshire at this point. this seems to be sweet spot in storm and pulls away as we go through morning hours. 8 o'clock a lot of commuters at that time. but at noon time a lot of tapered off in afternoon it seems to shut down, but i still suspect with an east northeast wnd east northeast left over sprinkles in afternoon. it will slowly fade tomorrow. then we will get back into more clouds by thursday. no rest for weary. not lot of sunshine in next two days none expected tomorrow. an inch of rain in boston we need badly reservoirs are low water tables running slow some spots we might get up to two inch three would pushing it moving target. on south shore it seems we will get lot more rain on the north shore north andest with of city. here's where i would say at least an inch and a half closer to two inches on south shore. elsewhere a good soaking with
