on the couch saying there was something that moved about paris paris. all of a sudden you can't stop watching the nonstop coverage. but one thing that the world does do is it shows -- when there's a tragedy, the world unites. so many of the monuments around the world were splashed with blue, white and red. it was all over the world. >> that's rio. >> wow. that's our freedom tower. >> it's just beautiful to e see that. you always wonder, a lot of people were looking for loved ones and friends and things. karen had a friend who was in the soccer stadium at the time. and the friend did not realize what had happened. she was in the bathroom. >> she heard an explosion. >> we weren't sure what it was. people were learning stuff on their phones. he roll -- you can only imagine as a parent, you hear that something has happened.
