this house here on lincoln avenue investigators have come and gone from the scene. they left here about an hour ago after executing a search warrant but it all began with a frantic 911 call then the race was on to locate this missing toddler. they were the sounds that residents around lincoln avenue in hamilton woke up to friday morning. helicopters hovering overhead and police with especially trained tracking dogs racing through the neighborhood. it was just after 7:00 this morning hamilton police received a frantic 911 call from the toddler's mother. little two-year-old lyndon albers was missing. taken from the family's home some time after 3:00 in the morning while her parents and four-year-old sister were sound asleep . i have children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. i think it's the worst fear we all have. with troopers on the move just after 10:00, the tone of the investigation took a dramatic

along the side of the road in neighboring rowley. 8 miles from her home. her had had been shaven. she wasn't wearing any clothes and suffering a head injury . i confirmed she is found a alive and i can confirm she was transported to the hospital. >> anchor: lyndon's dad making a brief stop before heading to children's hospital in boston to be with his daughter. the house sealed off through the day with that yellow crime tape before state police investigators arrived on the scene late in the afternoon with a search warrant in hand looking for clues in connection with the girl's disappearance. neighbors thankful the toddler was located, but clearly concern concerned . this was just too, it was, just nothing you would ever imagine happening here. here.. >> reporter: i'm trying to allay of the people living around here. the chief told us people that live around here shouldn't worry worry. what that inbound case is perhaps this wasn't a random act here.

even so, neighbors ton are anxious for more answers. live in hamilton tonight, steve cooper, 7 news. >> anchor: tonight police are talking to a person of interest debted to this case . >> anchor: sheryl fiandacca has breaking information on that person and sheryl joins us live in our newsroom . >> reporter: well, kim, sources say police are questioning a former baby sitter a 21-year-old woman in connection with this incident. we are now learning quite a few disturbing details about the child's injuries and this case. sources say the bishy was found naked shall her head was shaved and she had cigarette burns on her body. sources say the baby sitter was at one time a trusted care giver and was recently fired. she is cooperating with investigators and is answering questions and there are a lot of questions including how and when the child was taken from the home and how she ended up on the side of the road with all of those troubling injuries. earlier this morning, investigators were at gordon college in wenham asking the police there about a former female student and the college

confirms they told the police told the investigators the woman hadn't been enrolled there since 2014. sources say police have not yet made an arrest but the young woman is in custody and she is talking. this investigation i'm told is unfolding very quickly. in the newsroom, sheryl fiandacca, 7 news . >> anchor: and we're learning more about the disturbing condition in which this little girl was found . >> anchor: and why she was taken to a nearby hospital in beverly. john cuoco spoke with a friend of the couple who found her. john? i soak with the couple that found her just a few minutes ago ago. this ewere on their way to work from ipswich to here in amesbury amesbury. their shop is just across the street here. they saw something on the side of the road. they didn't know what it was. so they turned back around to check it out. that's where they found the child covered in leaves, naked with a head contusion and a shaved head. they took the child in their car car. he put a jacket over her bus she was shivering, cold. for a while they didn't really know that this was the girl that was missing because they

actually thought it was a boy because of the shaved head. take a listen. i thought, i didn't know what it was. i thought it was a person, a baby. i drove by but then, you know, it clicked. i said marge, i said, i think i just saw a little baby at the side of the road. she told me i was crazy. i said it could have been a doll but i'm going to spin around. so i spun around and i went to the area and low and behold it was a little baby sit there . thank god we turned around because it was a baby. stuffed like not stuffed but like sitting in leaves like right at the edge of a road. road.. >> reporter: right now the couple is hoping whoever did this is caught and the child can recover. live in amesbury, john cuoco, 7 news. >> anchor: investigators spent several hours at the scene where

reporting police say she was lying on the side of the road 8 miles from home. jonathan hall continues our team coverage live from that scene. good evening, imagine 8 miles per hour from the family home in hamilton to this stretch of road where this little girl named lyndon was found cold and alone and naked. residents here fine the emerging details very disturbing. it's clear to them now this child didn't just wander off. she was found naked with a shaved head these are whole elements that change the whole complex of what i was thinking ten minutes ago . >> reporter: lyndon albers was found if these leaves h rowley a witness believes he saw the couple who found the toddler . it was like they were lost. they were looking around, but i can't say exactly what they were doing but they were looking at something . >> anchor: bob morris was out for a walk and said he first saw the man and woman parked in an

they got out of the car and they were just looking around and they were there for a while. and then all of a sudden everybody came in behind them. >> anchor: soon police from rowley and several surrounding towns had arrived along with state police. they used a k-9 unit to search for evidence up and down a long strep of newbury road. residents saw an ambulance with a police escort leave around 10:00 a.m. they find the details of the toddler's condition shocking. it's a big mystery what happened to her . yes, it isment it's just in this day and age it's so unfortunate that these things just keep happening over and over again. and i just it's very upsetting to see it in your own neighborhood. >> anchor: but residents here comforted to know that lyndon is a s alive and getting medical care. live in rowley, jonathan hall, 7 news. >> anchor: stay with 7 news on air and on-line for the latest on this breaking news. we are also posting updates on

mobile apps as well as face become abtwitter pages . >> anchor: also breaking republican presidential candidate chris christie running into trouble on a flight heading from san francisco to boston. brandon gunnoe live in the control room with details on that . governor christie's plane had to turn back to the gate before it even took off. this is a photo taken by a passenger moments before the plane started boarding and san francisco this afternoon. that's kristi in the middle sitting at a table. we've learned that governor kristi was about to take off when a passenger was removed from the plane. san francisco police say that passenger was taking cell phone picks of the flight crew. another passenger had seen the man's phone and told police they saw picture on it of a cell phone with wires sticking out. at the request of unite , that passenger was then taken off the plane. christie's campaign released a statement that said at no point did governor kristi under act with this passenger nor did this passenger pose a verbal or physical threat to the governor. that plane by the way is set to

land in boston later tonight. live in the control room, brandon gunnoe, 7 news. >> anchor: also breaking over overseas islamic extremists armed with guns an grenades take hostages at a luxury hotel in ma mali. officials say the crisis is finally over but at least 21 people are dead including two of the alleged gunmen. ryan schulteis in our newsroom with more on this tragic attack . >> anchor: nbc news is report reporting at least one person was killed in today's attacks. it all started around 7:00 a.m. local time. that is when the attackers took over the raddison hotel in mali mali's capitol. officials say at least 170 people were in that hotel at the tile. once inside, the attackers began collecting hostages. at one point asking the victims if they could recite a muslim declaration. those who could were then freed. u.s. officials say six americans are among those who were able to get out safely but again nbc news is reporting at least one american was kill. no group has yet to claim responsibility for that attack. in the newsroom, ryan schulteis, 7 news. >> anchor: and now to the latest on the terror in paris. a third body found now they

scene of that raid this week that killed ring leader abdehamid abaaoud. french officials say this un unidentified body could also be that of a terrorist. for more on these developments, let's go to our elizabeth noreika . >> anchor: i can, french officials found the remains of another person at that apartment apartment. a woman but they do not know her identity right now. they also do not know whether she was wearing a suicide vest. investigators no longer believe the other woman whose remains were found in the raid was a suicide bomber. police in paris now say they have recovered footage of the attacks, ring leaders as those attacks were taking place. he was filmed at a metro station in paris. isis making more threats. this time to the u.s. that's leading to conflicting ideas among the presidential hopefuls about how to handle the threat. republican presidential front-runner ben carson and donald trump are calling for special government surveillance of american muslims. but other candidates say that only promotes religious discrimination. security around the u.s. has been stepped up in new york city washington and here in boston.

yeah, who would think that we would cool down around here. front offshore, this is our weather for tomorrow. a lot of sunshine to start and then some clouds to trickle in as we go through the afternoon hours. all in all, at worst partly sunny. upper 40's along the coastline out through the cape of the elsewhere we may be able to give 50 a run for its money and it's possible away from that sea breeze and then tomorrow night we cool down for fenway football football. bc taking on notre dame and by the end of the game upper 30's again a partly cloudy sky here, no threat for any showers tomorrow but with a weather system coming in there is a threat and it looks like it's ongoing throughout the day. these are sprinkle. this isn't a washed out day. most of the wet weather will stay offshore then this front stalls and we may have a wave of low pressure ripple along that which will be neat to see from a afar. good thing too because the cold comes in and you don't want to know. but it could have meant some snow for us if we had the right set up but it seems too far removed sweeping well away from us. there is some snow though with
