viola. nightly news begins now. good evening. we begin tonight with harrowing new details from inside that hotel in mali in west africa where al qaeda linked terrorists killed 20 people, including an american on friday. exactly one week after the devastating massacre in paris. dozens more were held hostages inside the radisson blue hotel and some are sharing their terrifying stories of survival with nbc news for the first time. islamic extremes armed with rifles and grenades storming the hotel and screaming religious epithets. we are in mali tonight and tells us what happened through the eyes of one american. >> reporter: in the
