so whether you're a first timer in the kitchen on thanksgiving or you're a approximate want everything to go as easy as possible. >> brought in our resident expert justin chapel. >> turk set main attraction. >> and, of course, if you're roasting a turkey and need a rack, so i have a trick. you'll be my sidekick here. if you don't have a rack. take a large piece of heavy duty foil, double layer, about one and a half to two time the length of the turkey and crumble it up until you get a nice foil rope, kind of like this. great for the kids and. it in your roasting pan and pop

with you and tell you about a couple of hotel booking scams. one of them is, by the way, a shocking number. 15 million hotel bookings a year, according to the industry association are scams. 15 million are scams. >> just to make it clear. third-party booking sites. >> third-party booking sites. think you're going on the hotel website. >> right. >> it's not really the hotel website because coming up on google sometimes these fakes can get themselves up higher. and so they will make themselves look that way and there are third-party organizations that come in and you'll book right through them. the things you want to do, number one, book with reputable companies whose names you've heard of and that means you should pick up the phone, legit -- a legit website will have the phone number in the corner and call that phone number and advice i always give, always give, is pay with a credit card. >> yeah. >> don't use your debit card even because your debit card, that money comes out of your account, it's gone. credit card you can dispute and

read the fine print for legitimate hotels to make sure if you cancel or change it and the third one is if you use a third-party booking site, a great piece of advice, pick up the phone just after you book it and call the hotel itself. call the front desk and say i want to make sure that you have that reservation. >> and i know that's great advice, but say the whole reason we go online is so we don't have to make all these phone calls. when you say 15 million people have been scammed, that's incredible. >> every single year. >> next one here, and this is amazing to me. i didn't even think that this happens but it does happen all the time is if you're in your hotel room and you get a call say from the front desk saying, hey, i need your credit card number again. big red flag, right? >> when you check into hotels and you guys travel all the time just like mow and just like you this week you walk up to the front desk, what's your name an checking in and as you're fiddling for the wallet, natalie morales, checking into the hotel. the criminals will stand by and listen to who is checking in and will call the front desk from
