they are now gone, still dealing with a huge back up out through the oxford area. this stays heavy out past route 128. i'm joe stapleton, 7 news. continuing our team coverage, brandon gunnoe in the traffic tracker. brandon, where are you and how does it look where you are? reporter: liz, it's a traffic headache. we're four and a half miles there that accident. we're on 128 north. according to our gps it's going to take us close to an hour just to go those four miles. we were at the braintree split probably an hour and 45 minutes ago. if you were walking quickly outside of the car, you would be going a lot faster than we are. it's bumper to bumper, just stop and go. we're about four miles away from where that accident with the box truck is on northbound and just going slow as can be. it's quite a mess out here. that's the latest behind the wheel of the traffic tracker.

brandon gunnoe, 7 news. brandon. stay up on the traffic trouble with our 7 news app. you can see a map of the worst traffic jams happening right now. more breaking news to get to. three people hit by a car in a parking lot in natick. killed. kimberly bookman live in natick with more on what kimberly? reporter: adam, natick police tell us a woman in her late 80s was driving around this corner at a high rate of speed. they say she popped the curb causing the car to go airborne hitting three men coming out of harbor freight tools. the car smashed into a building before landing in an an alley way. the three victims, all shoppers, didn't know one another. two were in their 70s, one in his 40s. police say one of them didn't make it. workers nearby ran to help the victims before emergency crews arrived

was grim. >> behind this wall here, right before burlington coat factory, there's an alley down there that could fit the vehicle, so the vehicle ended up going up on the curbing, through the vegetation there and ended up going through the alley. >> put a shirt on somebody bleeding out of the head, somebody who was gurgling on their blood. you really couldn't try to administer any help to try to make people comfortable. you didn't know what to do, it was that type of a scene. it was tragic. reporter: and back out here live now, you can see still a very active scene out here again. one man is dead, one in critical condition. we're waiting to hear the condition of the police still investigating out here. at this point they've not pressed any charges. reporting live from natick, kimberly bookman, 7 news. police identify a suspect after a woman's body was found burned near train tracks in bridgewater.

that man is on the run tonight. >> investigators think he was looking for revenge. steve cooper outside the attorney's office in brockton. reporter: this is the wanted poster that the plymouth county this afternoon. they say this is the man wanted for herd after a woman's body was found burned in bridgewater. >> our job was to piece together who committed this heinous crime. reporter: this is the man investigators are looking for. fernando owens of dorchester is wanted for the murder three weeks ago of ashley bortner in new jersey. >> she had been gagged by a towel in victim's clothing, wrapped in a blanket and hog tied reporter: the district attorney says owens killed bortner the day after his 21-year-old son dominick was murdered in dorchester.

acquainted with miss bortner and he believed miss bortner somehow had a hand in the shooting death of his son. reporter: police have also charged julian and shannon squires of manchester, new hampshire in connection with bortner's killing. the husband and wife now charged as accessories after the fact. >> we will in the very least the couple were involved in the disposal of the body in bridgewater. reporter: evidence links him to the homicide along with opponent calls the day of the murder. >> the job is to locate and arrest mr. owens. reporter: investigators appealing to the public tonight, they do warn that owens should be considered armed and dangerous. as for the squires, the couple that was arrested in connection with this case, they are expected to be arraigned some time in the next few days. steve cooper, 7 news. after the terror attacks in paris, president obama and the president of france coming together at the

about defeating isis. ryan schulteis live in the news room with more. reporter: his country is still on high alert for president fran after those meetings president obama stressed the americans would not be terror eyed or give into fear. >> we're here today to declare we stand united in total solidarity. it's been noted the terrorist did not direct their attacks against the french government or military. rather they focused their violence on the very spirit of france. by extension on all liberal democracies. this was an attack on our free and open societies.

effort to unite nations, turkish officials say the jet was traveling in its air space and the pilots were warned ten times about being in an area where they were not supposed to be. ryan schulteis, 7 news. there's good news as we head into a long holiday weekend for a lot of you. we are in for a warmup. let's get to our chief meteorologist pete bouchard. >> the only issue would be the clouds increasing as we go into the thanksgiving holiday. this morning it was a cold start, 15 degrees, 15.5 to be exact. auburn at 19, wrentham 24, boston coldest night of the season at 29. current readings in the lower 40s in the city but the suburbs already falling, look at that in nor ward, 27 degrees, worcester 32. a couple of clouds trying to get in from northern new england.

try to maintain our clear skies. now tonight falling back through the 30s and into the 20s and staying there. some teens are possible. not as cold as last night but two or three degrees warmer, so it's splitting hairs here and by morning a bright spot of 24. we'll warm it up tomorrow a little bit. the real warmup is thursday and friday. worcester's city council voting tonight on the smoking ban in some public places. if passed, people won't be allowed to smoke at city-owned parks and outside hospitals and bus stops. students at brandeis university staging a sit-in. they say the school's administration failed to address concerns they have about racial equality. members of the group says they are inspired by activists in missouri. the monday night matchup featured some questionable calls and we're talking about more

than just one. >> the nfl now admits refs made mistakes. dan hausle live at foxboro with more for us tonight. reporter: you have the nfl admitting mistakes were made. bills and patriots fans both agree mistakes were made and even the announce. team said this was not a good game for officials. >> what a screwed up night of plays and owe niche -- officiating. >> my god, that inadvertent whistle, i'm so mad about that. that was ridiculous. reporter: a ref's whistle appeared to wipe out a great chance for new england to build a great lead. >> should have had a touchdown. tough call. >> after the game nfl official admitted the inadvertent whistle was a mistake. >> i thought that was a little ridiculous.

snow, snow and more snow. everyone hoping we don't see as much as this winter weather that we saw last year. but as we head into the winter of course, the city is preparing. >> because the time is just ticking. who knows when we could see more snow. could new equipment be the key? >> time is ticking. the temperatures starting to tick down where mayor marty walsh and others officials share the plan for this coming winter. it's painful to watch this old video here. several storms forced officials to ban driving at times so crew could see clean up. all that snow, it doesn't completely melt until july and look what was left here. it was piled up in a south boston lot there and you can see what was left of it, that black,

there. it didn't leave until the middle of the summer and it was all of that dirt and trash left behind when it finally did melt. today the mayor spoke about new snowblowers city workers have that will keep the streets clear. >> these new snowblowers will be giving us the ability not to push snow but removing it. rather than pushing it on corners, we'll be able to take it off the street and get it out of the way. >> it can affect businesses too when the snow is piled up ten feet in front hey snow front. they are hoping not to use all of the extra money. nick emmons, 7 news. doesn't seem like a big blockbuster winter coming with el nino out

traffic right now, just barely moving. lanes, you should expect them to be closed for hours. at least the weather's okay, right? although it's a little chilly in the suburbs. let's look at wellesley, 34 degrees right now. 31 in wayland and 38 in waltham. 40 in boston, 34 in dedham. this is how the suburbs cool it down. 31 in reading and 33 up in greenland, new hampshire. freezing. the south shore with bridgewater now leading the pack at 30 and so is plymouth but cape cod, outer cape at least, 35 degrees. this morning cold enough to skim some ice on the pond there in hopkinton. now clouds, we don't have too many of them but they are trying to work down from northern new england. i suspect some of these may make it but it doesn't look like we're

going to be buried in clouds tonight. chilly. you'd think with high pressure moving offshore you'd get a nice return, warm it up. the warmup is delayed but not denied. eventually the wind will come out of the south southeast and warm us up. that comes with baggage. that's not clean and scott-free. clouds move in on thanksgiving and we should be mostly cloudy late in the afternoon. it is milder in a sense. we go from 40s to the mid 50s. but without sunshine it won't feel all that warm. we just make it into those low 40s and 50s. get to 62 and then a saturday. travel is fine. i mean weather wise can't say anything about the actual traffic. now saturday looking like a few showers in the morning and then some wind in the afternoon. it's not a huge deal but enough to bring us down to fair from good. thanksgiving itself 37, 53 and then 52 through the afternoon with those

a sprained knee. that is going to limit him this week. fending on how he responds to treatment, amendola could be available to take on the broncos on sunday night football. to be son is expected to miss at least the denver game and perhaps more either way. this is nothing new for tom brady who knows the show must go on no matter who lines up at receiver this week. >> we lost a lot of guys and we lost quite a few guys over the last few weeks. it's good to win against the good defense. any way you can get these wins, it's just a positive. whoever's in there, we just have to have confidence in what they are doing. >> guys are hungry on the team. if you're starting, not starting, it doesn't matter. we all have chemistry throughout practice. reporter: that chemistry was on display last night in foxboro. the patriots defense holding up their end of
