30 fitchburg, same in shrewsbury shrewsbury. and 34 in scituate now. about 33 in dighton and 34 in foxboro. our temperature about 33 out through chatham. our showers not awrying right away. clouds will be with us, yeah, that kind of thing. we'll slowly work in the showers showers. tuesday afternoon when i say that i'm thinking mid afternoon. maybe early afternoon out through worcester. good soaking is on the way. not with this particular wave that arrives tomorrow. it's the second wave on wednesday when we get most of the rain. temperatures will moderate a slow climb but as you can see, there is nothing arctic across parts of southern canada or even up through churchill near hudson bay. as far as like temperatures in the teens and, you know, below zero, even yellow knife at 14 degrees right now, that's pretty warm for them. so no arctic air to tap into, we have the cold that's with the storms and there is limited cold cold. limited resources here so i am seeing this as a mostly rain event.
6:17 pm
there may be some cold through western mass to maybe trip us up to some sleet at the beginning of this weather system as it rolls in tomorrow but for all in intents and purposes this is all wet. clouds roll in, the showers roll in and roll out. then we go to drizzle and sit in the drizzle for most of tomorrow night and wait for the second wave to come along as we go into wednesday that rides up with low pressure and that will be a good enough focus mechanism so we might get some moderate rain in here on wednesday. that will taper off on wednesday night and that concludes our entire rain system or weather system i guess. when we're done when the dust settlesment look like we might have close to an inch in some spots. i'm going between a half inch and 3/4 of an inch. some models push the rain issue but i think it's a soaking and isn't something that's going to break this drought we're in. weapons and thursday, low 50's normal high upper 40's. we'll do better than that as you see. brief clearing then some more clouds late. 20's to lower 30's then clouding

over with afternoon showers. 40's tomorrow, lower 40's. near 50 on wednesday and then thursday low 50's as we try and clear it out. i will see you tonight with an update. can't make the grab with the throw behind him. grokowski is hit from behind by stewart. he will stay down on the turf and he is writhing in pain. worst fear realized for patriots perhaps as the cart comes out to the field. >> anchor: it looked like the patriots season went down the drain when rob grokowski went down in a heap on the turf in denver last night but for once the patriots may be catching a break in the injury department. gronk is dealing with a minor knee strain according to multiple reports and injury that should not end his season. espn's adam semester reporting nonlast hour inform the patriots tight end is likely to miss multiple games and his return

well he can deal with the pain. but that is a lot better than losing him for the season. a day later, gronk's quarterback and coach shared their take on his latest situation. we always hope for the best for all of our players so that will never change our players work hard and give us everything they got and if you see anything happen to anybody so we're of course hoping for the best. that made me happy. hopefully he gets checks done today and hopefully he will be back at some point. we'll see. >> anchor: gronk not the only key patriot who did not finish the game in denver. linebacker dante high tower leaving in the second quarter with what's being reported as a strained mcl and injury that will likely knock him out of action for a few weeks. without gronk in high tower the patriots ran out of gas against the broncos who churned out 179 yards in the ground. 4 of them right here when cj

anderson wept for that game winning touchdown in over time. malcom butler says he had a feeling this would come down to that final possession. i knew it was going to be a dogfight like 60 minutes. i knew it would come down to the end which it did but we just came short. they air great team. we're a good team. lot of lessons learned . we have to go back and get back in the lab and grind harder and get ready for philly. >> anchor: fumble punt one day get released the next. nobody said the nfl was easy. the patriots giving receiver chris harper his walking papers. fresh off that muffed pump that led to a broncos touchdown, it could also be a sign though that danny amendola is coming close to getting back and being game ready. if dave dombrowski is going to make a big ticket patch prove this holiday season you would expect it would be in front of the rotation starter but there is more on his wish list apparently than just an ace. today, the new president of
