5:23 pm
>> anchor: if you like today really a stellar forecast in store for the weekend. it stays dry which insurance that the sunshine sticks around with us saturday and sunday, plus a weekend warming trend on the way for us so the wait for winter again with that ellipses. ellipses.we continue that wait because everybody wants to know where is the snow and it's definitely not in the forecast for the next 7 to ten days at least. we've set up this pattern, we're sticking with it for now. winds have calmed down today compared to yesterday. big-time but still enough of a breeze to make those temperatures feel pretty chilly. it feels like 36 in worcester while air temperature is actually 41. 46 right now in boston, can feel closer to 42 degrees. if you still have to take the dogs for a walk tonight keep that in mind. you still want to bundle up with those layers. clouds that have moved in for us will stick around for long enough tonight to keep those temperatures from free falling so that is a bit of a benefit for us. there is just a weak disturbance to our north and it is bringing some light snow showers to
5:24 pm
our west, but nothing for us. not with all of those colors that you see popping up on radar radar. we have high pressure that becomes the dominant feature for the weekend and that starts to move in almost parting the seas as it does so again sunshine for us tomorrow and also sunday. tonight partly cloudy to mostly clear as those clouds move out. 30 to 36 as you get closer to the city of boston. winds pulling back even more and into tomorrow it is the key because it's warm upstairs and if we get the wind it's like mixing the cookie dough as you are heading into the christmas holiday or into the holidays and doing that baking. we need that wind to get the mixing. to get the milder temperatures, then it doesn't make it feel as warm so sort of a tradeoff for us. nevertheless, i do think that our temperatures before normal tomorrow. we're talking low to even mid 50's for some of the most mild spots and then getting into sunday, how about break in the 60 degrees mark in some spots? yeah, that could be the case as long as we get that mixing. now nothing in the way of storms
5:25 pm
a glancing blow as we get into tuesday but it is a glancing blow of rain and wind and that's really only a 30% chance and i'm not all that confident of that right now. we'll keep our eye on it. otherwise dry and mile throughout the entire week. see you in a bit . >> anchor: sounds good, bree. still ahead a prom wish come true. we introduce to you a very special student in today's class
