what they were saying, they were all excited. wrapping the pat. >> high temperatures today 45 in boston, about a degree above normal. 37 in worcester. thanks to the cloud cover. upper 30s and mid 30s in from lowell and tyngsborough, to ipswich, 33 in fitchburg, 36 in auburn. the south shore has 39 in randolph and foxboro. 35 in attleboro, and the 40s over at the kamdz. where is the arctic air? none to be had. this is above normal. the high temperature in moose bay is above normal too. normally two below for a temperature this time of year. so all of canada is warm. we're warm. we have no arctic air to tap into. so the month is average more than normal. average high is 44. average low is 31. stays mild through mid december now. this is a long term warm up. we did miss out on a big storm
6:20 pm
it gave us a glancing shot. add some rain. so technically we were hit a bit in nantucket with moderate rain for a little while. but now, bind this weather system it's leaving us with clouds and these clouds are tenacious for sticking around. and lauding out the sun. there's nothing here to erase them. the sun is too weak, we can't burn through them. so tomorrow we sit in them. there may be times of sunshine. we may wake up to some clear skies in a pocket or two. i think as the day goes on. those clouds move under a underneath an aversion as we call it. and go under the sun. no precipitation expected. not seeing any showers or any flurryryes or anything. but we are seeing the cool temperatures or at least seasonable temperatures in the 40s. as this high moves away. might be a couple of sprinkles on thursday with another weather system. this is the one that warms us up. it doesn't look like a warm up. expect to be almost no clouds around and a lot of sunshine. but the switch in the wind
6:21 pm
so our highs tomorrow, middle 40s, peel that away and look at thursday's highs in the mid 50s. rust s whys like that, low 50s in worcester, up through southern new hampshire, sitting pretty good all the way through thursday afternoon and then as we go into friday, saturday be and into sunday, too. the warmth lasts. the question becomes in the long range, saturday or sunday. will we hit 60s, it really depends only the presence of a front nearby on sunday. it could come by and cool us off. but if it doesn't. easily 60 degrees, 26 to 34 tonight. mainly cloudy. seasonably cool tomorrow. 40s in the seven on seven forecast. there it is, amazing, even at night, our temperatures will be warm. that's key too. these are averages. average of the suburbs and the city. remember that in 7 day. we always do that. overnight lows are the same. at no point, temperatures below freezing, saturday, sunday, into monday and tuesday. that's incredible for almost mid december.
