investigators discovered skeletal remains from taken from the mausoleum and now they believe someone broke into yet another building. a connecticut man is facing charges in the first case. he told police that he's a santa ria police and stole the bones for a healing ceremony. >> and breaking news from major league baseball. the league recommending more safety measures at ballparks. this comes after some fans were injured by broken bats and foul balls. >> the goal here is to protect fans at all 30 major league ballparks. dan hausle live at fenway to tell us more about what's happening. >> a lot of fans are looking for the best seats possible and for many of those fans, those seats are right here next to the dugouts, right next to the field. but those can be also the most dangerous seats so now the league and red sox adding extra protection. >> reporter: just months after sox phantommia carpenter suffered horrific injuries by a flying bat at fenway park, the

baseball are announcing to increase the protective netting country. >> anything that make us a little safer here, i'm for. i'm for. >> reporter: baseball's division released this statement... the red sox say they're still vealgt different design changes to offer more protection but the attorney says he understands the seats she and her son were sitting in when she was hurt will now be covered by the increased netting. the attorney adding to the extent that the catastrophe that ms. carpenter and her son suffered was a stimulus to provide additional netting, at least something good will have come out of her injuries and suffering.

are also looking at doing a better job letting fans know when they buy their tickets, whether their seats will be the high protective netting or not. it appears fans unhappy with the extra protection will be in the minority. >> i hate to lose the great views you get without the netting but how many times do you have to have an incident where maybe it's the right thing to do. so i think it's problem time. >> and they'll be making clear they see this as a true effort not just to add extra netting but make it clear to the fans when they're not behind the netting, what they need to do to protect themselves. dan hausle, 7news. we're now learning the two shooters in the california terror attack were radicalized at least two years ago. fbi officials say the shooter spent at least a year planning the rampage while making financial plans for their family after their deaths. 7's ryan schulteis joins us now >> investigators are now looking into the time leading up to the shooting and now say the couple prepared for and discussed going through with that attack for

>> reporter: a week after the deadly attack here, law enforcement sources say there are indications syed farook was planning an attack on a california target. >> reporter: three years before agents say he and his wife tashfeen malique and her husband killed 21 inside the regional center time that time would indicate they were radicalized before they even met. >> as early as the end of 2013 they were talking about each other about jihad and martyr.com before they became engaged and lived together in the united states. >> reporter: investigators continue to pour through documentation and other evidence found inside their home and say the couple had been practicing at shooting ranges and likely plotting their attack for more than a year. >> we're also working very hard to understand whether there was anybody else involved with assisting them, with supporting them and equipping them. >> reporter: that part of the investigation focuses now on a number of people witnesses saw entering in farook's garage months prior to the attack. federal officials are looking into a $28,000 loan the

attack which may have been used to take care of their daughter after the couple died. ryan schulteis, 7news. and new information on the paris terror attacks. french authorities say they've identified the third shooter at the bataclan concert hall. cnn affiliates in france report this is his picture. his name, fued muhammad agawd, 21 years old, investigators say he blew himself up during the attacks last month. reports indicate he traveled to syria and close to one of the jihad are you kreuters in france. investigators say he was known to french terrorist services and had a police record. new york city fired up as they rally against presidential candidate donald trump, this comes following trump's announcement that the u.s. should ban muslims political leaders across the country continue to condemn his comments republicans. but trump isn't showing any signs of backing down. >> stand together -- >> reporter: democrats rally against donald trump in new york. >> if you see bigotry say something.

it's going to be a very tough sell. >> g.o.p. insiders say they fear trump's road to the nomination looks smooth. also on 7, a man accused of a brutal break-in in quincy. police say that guy tied up a pregnant mother inside her own home, and the woman's room. she's the one who called for help. 7's jonathan hall live in quincy with more on the suspect who faced a judge today. jonathan. it seems this is a safe the police do not believe this was any sort of a random crime. happened right there in that home and investigators believe the family was targeted. they believe the two suspects knew this pregnant woman and her husband kept a whole lot of cash there. >> a 22-year-old revere man in invasion. >> where are you hiding? >> i'm in my room. >> you're in your room? i locked the door. >> you locked the door? i think they're hurting her.

quincy girl hiding in her bedroom called 911 tuesday as her stepmom was restrained, according to a prosecutor. >> you took a roll of clear tape from the kitchen, wrapped the sweater around her head and taped it to her head. the suspect then wrapped both of her wrist together about the tape, as well. >> reporter: kevin murphy and a masked man, unknown to police, allegedly broke into a rear door and got away with at least 40,000 cash. alan ang told police it's money from his bakery and quincy center and spoke to us briefly about the crime involving his daughter. >> she's doing okay. >> it was very, very scary. >> reporter: quincy police arrived at the home in time to see murphy right in front of the house, he ran and police chased him to this apartment building just up the road. officers handcuffed him out back. >> murphy insisted to police he didn't have a gun but a police dog named major found one, accord to investigators, right here in this hole, a stolen 40 caliber glock.

some wild weather in the northwest. rain causing still more mudslides in oregon. this is salem, the state's capital, the highway there just covered. crews have been working throughout the day to clear the debris. >> and all the rain is causing serious flooding, too. look at the high water levels in that area.

the day with the cloud cover overnight and the winds out of the south it's not going to allow these temperatures to drop off all that much and we may indeed save a little bit of patchy fog and patchy drizzle formulate overnight after midnight tonight. this batch of light showers through the ohio valley, that has to swing on through as you get into tomorrow morning, wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of passing brief showers for tomorrow on the lighter side. in its wake for the afternoon, the temperatures you see in the 50s from new york city back to buffalo, new york down into pittsburgh, that will be with us. so we do expect those temperatures to once again jump up into the mid- to upper 50s. so the lack of cold air, the true cold air from canada, that will continue on this seven-day forecast ahead of us. 4:00 in the morning, you can see a little bit of patchy drizzle out there, a lot more low clouds and patchy fog. and this will continue through about 8:00, 9:00 in the morning. we do start off a little bit on the damp side but in the afternoon it's mild and dry once again with temperatures running into the mid- to upper 50s. low clouds on friday morning,
