first at 6:00 a tire tragedy in salem, new hampshire. 22-year-old sears employee was working on a tire when it exploded. it also injured a customer. they are trying to figure out how this could happen. brandon gunnoe is live in salem with the latest. >> 21-year-old male not conscious but breathing. >> is there only one patient >> there's two. that's part of 911 call after

explode killing him. the tire -- they were feeling up a tire and it exploded. it happened just before 8:00 this morning amount rocking ma'am park mall. 22-year-old employees fixing a large truck tire on an industrial tire changer when it exploded. investigators trying to figure out if problem with the equipment or if it was overinflated or a defect in the tire. detectives have been there isn't it happened. they will go through theers and check the machinery. they will figure out exactly what happened. at this time we're not 100% sure. the auto worker pronounced dead a short time later. the customers throne to hospital with serious head injury. sears released this statement first and foremost are thoughts and prayers are with the family p of the soeshg and we send our deepest condolences to them. we send our thoughts and concern to our customer injured in this

these pictures as they look for three men who stole a van and a motorcycle last week. detective said the robbers stole a van near condo complex in salem then loaded a stolen motorcycle into the back of that van. police now asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. a man in a sticky situation. police arrested robert dubesk for vandalizing a car last night. detective found video footage of the 24-year-old buying nachos at local convenient store. police say his facial injury happened in unrelated incident. he will appear in court monday. a dangerous drive leaves to a major crash in saugus critically injury several passengers. happened early this morning. two cars collided after a man lost control of his car and drove into oncoming traffic.

fence, ended up on someone's lawn. the accident is under investigation. a truck slams into a utiltity poll. happened after midnight. take a look. you can see the heavy damage. the driver was found in the woods nearby. he was transported to milford hospital. no word on his condition. families coming together in west bridgewater for a good cause. a free party for military families in the area. people were able to honor their loved one and also have a good time. and the woman who organized the event said she wanted to provide families with the good distraction during the holiday season. >> it's hard to think about the holiday and go through the holidays without somebody there. and you know the holidays are emotionally straining anyway. as youous as they are at the same. bring them together other people that got go through what they do.

men's hockey program. to really show case athletic here and be a focal point. at least for weekend. northeastern has good basketball team. they will get in that tournament in my humble opinion. it was great to play in front of a raucous crowd. i think your players got to learn how to do that. and so i guess we did something that most don't do. we went on the road and played a quality team and found a way to win. i'm pleased with that. after building momentum with double overtime thriller in a big road win at charlotte celtics in a slump. later set back loss at the garden. falling to tenth in the eastern conference standings. celtics are in need of spark. two days of practice from minnesota on monday.
