of all the students and staff they closed all of the schos. 7's steve cooper now live in nashua with the very latest. steve? >> anchor: you can imagine parents and students and staff and really everybody and here just on pins and knee el all day long anxious for answers from investigators who have been working this case since last night and then late word here after a news conference from police headquarters a little while ago that the schools are safe here in nashua and the classes will resume first thing in the morning. that there is no current credible threat to any nashua public school . >> anchor: and around the clock investigation by police in nashua along with the f.b.i. and now after late afternoon news conference authorities say they plan to reopen nashua public schools in the morning . we had police bomb dogs, we had the nashua police department bomb unit there, we had state police and atf bomb k-9's assist assisting us . we have received a detailed threat of violence to harm students and staff .

call parents received sunday night from the superintendent of schools after an straight received an e-mail about a specific threat of violence involving both nashua north and nashua south high schools. the superintendent says the threat was so specific he opted . it was specific to today's date saying today is the day that harm would be done to students and it was specific to citing the means by which students would be harmed. >> anchor: parents were clearly concerned through the day and that included new hampshire snorkelly ayotte whose two children are in the school system. certainly think what this shows is that we just need to be times . >> reporter: so the investigation into who is responsible is well under way and that now includes a message from the police chief . what i can tell the perpetrator is we'll use every possible resource we can to find you and you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

nashua police detectives are working with the f.b.i. trying to locate the person responsible for that e-mail. as for schools reopening in the morning, we're told that extra police will be on hand and all of the schools just to make sure all of the kids and staff and parents feel safe about the kids coming back. live in nashua tonight, steve cooper, 7 news. >> anchor: breaking news now in the deflategate appeal. the nfl has just filed what's called a reply brief stemming from tom brady's appeal of his deflategate punishment. brady was suspended by the league four games for his involvement in the scandal. he appealed and a judge over decision. goodell then appealed that. brady had his chance to argue for his side and now it's goodell's turn. the nfl arguing the original punishment is valid because the commissioner was acting within brady. the league is asking the court to resolve this case and let goodell's punishment stand. a decision is not expected until after the super bowl. >> anchor: we have some break breaking news out of lakeville.

missing mother and her two children. police say the woman never returned the children to their father so they are asking the public to be on the lookout for this 7-year-old girl and five five-year-old boy. 7's jonathan hall joins us live in lakeville, jon, you spoke to their father, right? >> reporter: kill, i did. he is very, very concerned. these kids are young. only five and 7 years old. they live here in this house be behind me with their father and he does have full custody. he is also very, very worried. i'm just scared for their safety to tell you the truth . >> anchor: steve says his son stevie turned five yesterday, so he allowed his exofficial green, the by's mother, to spend sunday afternoon with the birthday boy and his 7-year-old sister, eden. but valerie mcgrath allegedly took off with the kids and turned off her phone. she has been off the grid and dad is worried. >> reporter: where do you think they are? i have to idea. we've exhausted all possibilities like her friends
