help. pieces of broken ice left after a heroic rescue. 12- old were playing on the ice. >> they fell in. >> reporter: these 3 boys were all in but they stayed off the ice. when their friends went through, they immediately got help. >> i stopped the car and they turned around and came back. >> reporter: two people then ran into the cold dark pond. >> and started breaking the ice to get them. year- old out but couldn' t find the 12- year- old. >> he was completely submerged but we got there >> fire fighters were determined to find them. >> we are told the two boys are now recovering at the hospital. thanks to the brockton fire department, two brave good

so unprovoked, again, without officers having their weapons out, from what i understand he was shot. >> according to the police commissioner, he continues to recover from his injuries and all indkaigs are positive. he says they now carry a tourniquet. >> a nearby officer heard the call and tied it off. >> anchor: we' re told the shooting suspect will likely be in court on monday. >> police searching for the shooting suspect after the drive in worcester. he was hit overnight while trying to cross the street. investigators believe the vehicle could be with the large truck and suv and a vehicle crashes into the guard rail and telephone pole. the 25- year- old driver was killed in the crash. police say speed was likely a factor. no other vehicles were involved. >> anchor: big bucks up for

areas and up to worcester county and northern middlesex county and nashua, that observation site not coming in today but in southern new hampshire as well we' re looking out for that patchy dense fog. take it easy if that' s one of the areas for you to go through tonight. mid to upper 30s right now. temperatures won' t budge a whole lot until we hit the wee hours of tomorrow morning. here' s the mild air that will be pushing in along with our soaker for tomorrow. here' s all that rain we' re looking at through the day tomorrow and running through the time line and it takes until about 8- 9 a.m. for that rain to get going but the heavier rain arrives around midday and into the afternoon and it is through that bolt of lightning.

nothing severe but it is to that going to the possibility with the strong winds that we' re expecting. how much rain? between an inch to two inches though we could see some locations that exceed the 2 inch mark. it' s a system working in tomorrow and very mild for us. talking about the wind time line as well and these are sustained winds. anywhere from 20- 30 mph with sustained winds on the coast line to southeast mass but could see wind gusts of up to 50 and above that in the coastal areas and especially out for cape cod and the islands as well. power outages a possibility. we' ll be watching out for that tomorrow as well. and i' ll be here track thanksgiving all so send your reports on twitter. check out these highs for tomorrow though. mid to upper 50s. could get 60 in some spots. crazy for january and near record warmth! if you guessed that, you could be right. we could be breaking some records. what' s going on? cutting with the system again on the warm side of things but the cool air does move in and the temperatures drop and takes
