wind the story this afternoon. yesterday, the snow moved on through. close to three inches in worcester up into pepperell as well. boston, just three-tenths of an inch of snow. just away from the city, downtown along the coastline, you get back into arlington. we had close to two inches of snow. that snow still out there. it is not melting any time soon. you saw one, two, three inches of snow. as we have had cold air locked in place. 29 in boston. the story has been the wind over the last several hours. sustained wind. 28 miles an hour in worcester. 29 in boston. we have seen gusts exceeding 50 at times and recently, a 47-mile-per-hour gust in the city of boston. we will be battling that through the afternoon. had a couple of flurries across western massachusetts. that is coming down-wind of lake ontario. although central massachusetts may catch a flurry or two. the story continues to be the wind and the cold under a mix of sun and clouds. a couple of scattered clouds in the city of boston.
