>> announcer: this is 7 news at 4:30. >> ryan: first at 4:30 following breaking news out of east boston. police are investigating a double shooting inside the maverick t. station. a fight between two men started an a train and spilled on to the platform. two men suffered gunshot wounds. right now police are searching for the suspect. we'll stay on top of the story. >> jadiann: also today taking the plunge. in easton a car going in a brook. the driver was in shock and update down. >> ryan: crews able to pull the driver to safety. jonathan hall spoke with the man who was rescued. he is live in easton with manufacture on what happened. >> reporter: this is a lucky guy. the car came off the road.

it went over the wall missed the tree and flipped and landed in the water. i spoke to the driver. he says he was only going about 25 miles an hour as he recalled. he insists he didn't black out. >> i knew somethings was wrong because i couldn't move around. >> reporter: 73-year-old leon rudman glad to be home again after a bad crash. he has a sore neck but says he will be fine after losing control of his car which flip and landed in a shallow brook this morning. >> thank god no water was coming in. >> reporter: you are a lucky man. >> yes, that's what the doctors were telling me from the pictures they saw and the firemen. >> reporter: it has been quite an ordeal for this tax accountant who believes he had a patch of ice or a rock which made his toyota veer into the water at 9:00 am. a retired firefighter heard the crash and went to help rudman.

an inch into the water. >> reporter: three firefighters arrived with survival suits. they went into the brook which is four feet deep in places. they reassured rudman and went to work. >> he was pretty -- we had to use the jaws to take him out. >> reporter: it took a crane to pull the toyota out of the water. his seat belt saved him from a broken neck and perhaps death. >> reporter: were you cold? >> nor shock than anything else and i didn't know what happened. >> reporter: he recently lost his daughter and now this. is okay. >> i'm in total shock when they told me this. i, linda, leon, i just wish you best. >> reporter: there is a guard rail here but it's not long enough. easton is looking at extending it to prevent this thing from happening. accidents here. i'm jonathan hall, 7 news. >> ryan: a quincy man appear. ed in court after police say

line. thomas shan pretended to be the woman on an adult website. he asked others to assault her. kelli o'hara is live on what happened for today. >> reporter: good afternoon. prosecutors say the 45-year-old targeted this woman and many others and outlined things in a 94-page affidavit and says there are more charges coming. 45-year-old thomas shan in handcuffs in court and in front of a ridge. she in big trouble for allegingly posing as a woman, asking men on websites to do bad things. >> we're stating she wanted to be kidnapped, rape and tortured. >> reporter: prosecutors say the problem here was woman. a woman he had not spoken to in years. he stole the woman's photo, identifyity and put her address onegin. prosecutors say there are other women who are victims.

officers say they chased him afternoon. gunpoint. dominican. he is facing several woman. a woman facing a judge accused of breaking in a home in lowell. the woman is also charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon. prosecutors say she kicked one of the police officers who arrested her. she is being held on $5,000 bail. chelsea police saying the woman who reported being beaten and slashed over the weekends made the whole story up. the 25-year-old claimed three men attacked her while she was' walking home from work saturday night. she was actually injured inside of a home trying to break up a fight between several men. she is charged with misleading a police officer. >> ryan: more news today outrage is growing over the water crisis in flint, michigan. the mayor is headed to
