11:19 pm
then heads for the deep south. and really explodes once it moves into southeast. this where we think it will be midday on friday. just getting its act together. then really beginning intensify friday afternoon friday night. meanwhile cold hyannis port to the north. we've seen several storms this winter without arctic hyannis port. well now we have it. and challenge is does the hyannis port block the storm to the south of new england. there are two scenario that is are still very much at play. right now. track 1, would be a storm that would move up close to new england. and really, deliver the goods in terms of snow. we'd be talking 1 to maybe two feet of snow. winds already on order of 40 to 50 miles per hour. real mess. we'd have to threaten coast will flooding astronomical high tides coming up track number two a track a little farther south. still, we'll likely be some snow. even with the southern track here. so not like i'm going for sunny skies on saturday. i still think there will be shoveling and plowing even with
11:20 pm
the jet stream that's going look like this on saturday. when ever it forms this little circular here, configuration, kind of called a cut off it cuts itself off from main event it doesn't really throw moisture up and down the east coast. so what happens is that you're heavy band of snow is confined to a narrow path. this where i'm think it's going to with track 2. which you notice here, the northern edge right up to south coast and cape. again you folks on cape and now as you may be dealing with fair amount of heavy wet snow mixing withing sleet and rain. a slight shift in this track then bring boston back into play. so why we keep advertising check back in tomorrow with chris in morning myself tomorrow night we'll have an update as track still not locked right now but there has been southern trend through this track last couple of days. some snow and wind likely. heavier snow and wind a definite for mid atlantic states. again the timing would saturday evening, saturday night. and sunday morning. at this time, though again i
