warrants around 8:30. the suspect was wanted for violating multiple restraining laws. >> he had reportedly threatened his ex girlfriend and her family with a gun repeatedly over the last three weeks. >> >> reporter: he allegedly threatened them as well. the d.a. says he took off out a second floor window when he first pointed a gun at an officer. he eventually ran and stopped a cash. >> he ordered the female out of the vehicle at gunpoint. as officers approached he pointed the gun at them. >> reporter: that's when the officers opened fire. >> they immediately approached the vehicle and rendered aide. he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. >> we're told police are still investigating this.
