being very, very disciplined when it comes to sticking to his game plan. he's saying, she's a moderate. she's tied to wall street. period. is that strategy going to continue to be effective? >> well, it's been working for him, at least in new hampshire so far. i think that saying this is all home state advantage between new hampshire and vermont is a little bit of a stretch. there's definitely a real question phenomenon behind bernie sanders, and i think some is driven by doubts about secretary clinton. one is she's part of a corrupt system. last night, she gave full voice to all of her criticisms of him. he never did exactly the same thing back at her. he made his case, and he spelled it out, but he didn't sort of -- he didn't go as aggressively at her in terms of his language on the stage. that was a form of discipline. i think both candidates did what they wanted to do but it was a different approach from the both of them.

clinton said, you've been running this artful smear. if you want to say something to me, say it now and say it directly. how does that play? does it make her look strong, or was the tone off putting? >> we'll see. it was interesting. certainly kree ly ly created audible gasps and boos in the room which, frankly, you can never tell in the room which side the audience was leaning, sanders or clinton. that moment, everybody stood up straight. i can tell you, savannah, in talking to the campaign, that was a real moment. meaning, this wasn't like a planned idea, i'm going to accuse him of smearing the campaign. she sort of is like -- somebody described it to me, enough is him. i think the two of them might not like each other. >> remains to be seen. we didn't get a chance to talk about the republicans. we have several days left until new hampshire and we can accomplish that. chuck and rachel, thank you, >> thanks.

eisenhower, a high school and college track star. >> 1600 meter went about as i planned it, which is a new 1600 record for my school. >> reporter: according to the prosecutor, eisenhauer and keepers came up with the idea to take lovell to a remote location, under the guise of a date, and cut her throat. she says the couple bought a shovel at walmart. eisenhauer allegedly picked up lovell at her home, where she was waiting after climbing out of her bedroom window. all three drove to a remote area where nicole was killed. with nicole's body in eisenhauer's sedan, they bought cleaning products to cover up the crime, before driving to north carolina where lovell's body was found. keepers said she was excited to be part of something secretive and special. at the hearing, keepers said she had mental health issues,

everybody. it's coming up on 8:00 a.m. on this friday. our storm force coverage continues with a look at route 9. as you see, the flakes are flying and some of them sticking there to the pavement. some pretty tricky travel conditions out there. let's get the latest on the storm track from chris lambert. and chris, how much longer is the know going the last? >> it looks until about 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. onaverage. longer down to the south shore and the cape and the islands. we're in it here for next several hours as the rain turns other to snow. and many location, that rain/snow line close to duxbury, stretching close to plymouth and down through southern bristol county at this point.

over to snow. look at this long line moisture that has to work through over next six or seven hours. i do expect steady snow and at times bursts of heavy snow. when you get the burst of heavy snow, that's when the road conditions go downhill and really seeing that settling in close to route 9 out in natick. certainly a lot of the secondary roads, still mainly wet roads in downtown boston itself. 33 in boston. we're below freezing in worcester. so as the colder air continues to work on in, the snow having an easier time accumulating and by mid-to-late afternoon i do expect many towns to pick up about 5 to 8 inches of some very wet and the heavy snow. this is tough stuff to move around. a lot of water content in it. it will create slippery travel through the mid to late afternoon hours. improvements tonight. christa? >> christa: snow has been falling for a little while in worcester. let's head out there. 7's john cuoco is with us now. john >> john: snow is still steady out here in worcester. the big change is out here on the roads. if you take a look, when we first got here this morning,

lane there. the rest of your drive on 93 southbound is slow after you pass over 128 and head into boston. let's go to thelet's take a look at those drive times if you're getting ready to head out the door this morning. 22 minutes on the expressway into town. 93 southbound, 128 to the zakim bridge, 20 minutes. give yourself more time than this. be careful out there. if you're taking the "t," it's on time right now. >> christa: danielle, thank you.

should you be worried? >> here, you understand the reason it's not name sd d is because there's no evidence of current, ongoing virus transmission. doesn't mean it's not going to happen. i think we all anticipate that the countries that are currently not affected, as well as florida and the gulf coast of our country, will see some cases. i think, honestly, the best answer i can give you is that it's a personal decision. some are more risk avert than others. you need to make an informed decision and understand that most people, especially if you're not pregnant and not planning to become pregnant, the risk of a serious complication is low. you need to consult the cdc website regularly, under the negotiation with the association. i can't tell you to go or not to go. >> if you decide to go, or if you live in a gulf coast state, what is the best protection? >> couple points about this.

come back this time around. tell me about that time period. >> i think a lot of people thought i was shaking my comeback, which i wasn't. i'm the person where when i want something, i go after it. >> were you questioning yourself? >> after 2012, i thought, i want to do this again. i didn't think of giving up the sport of gymnastics. i was young and i wanted to continue. >> reporter: as all-around world champ the past three years, simone biles can't believe her olympics dreams may come true. >> if i recall correctly, you were in a gym watching them and not even sure if you could make it to this point. >> yes. >> what's that story? >> well, when they were competing at the olympics, they were in the gym and had it projected on the wall. i was watching them and i was like, what if one day i got to compete at the olympics? i was young and i didn't think it would be possible.

still basks in the glory of two gold medals in london. >> after we won, we were on cloud nine. it was like, i have so many great memories from the trip. it was amazing. >> really, she punched heretic ed ed her her her her ticket. >> four-way tie for the gold on the uneven bars. >> it pushes me because you want to have that medal to yourself. i think overall, i did the best that i can and i got the gold medal i wanted. >> mykayla, it's a team sport but also an individual sport. how do you balance that? >> we cheer each other on. even if you're a team or individual, you still hope the best for everyone. you hope the best for team usa. >> they're working hard. the team will be chosen after the trials in july. it's work, work, work until then. >> six months from today. >> wow. it'll be here before we know it.
