are you too loyal when it comes to your credit card? a new survey finds 25 million americans have not changed their go-to card in at least ten years. 20 million have never changed thar car. is that loyalty good or does it hurt you? guilty as charged, so to speak. i never change my credit card. is that a mistake? >> there are a lot of rewards. you are only able to capitalize on them if you change your card. loyalty is a small portion of your credit score. you probably don't want to get rid of the card you had the longest. >> how many should you have? >> there's no magic number but you want to have enough so that you are not using more than 30% of your credit limit on any of them at any one time. so for most people that is about four.
