just right. it's getting better and working toward our benefit and it makes the sunlight feel warmer. so maybe that's what you experienced today, kim, as that you can feel five to ten degrees warmer when you are standing in the direct sunlight and boy are we gaining day lit as we head through the next four weeks or so. how about the temperatures balancing out for the entire month? started off warm and then we all remember how last weekend felt. both extremes, warm up to 65 and cold down to nine below. we will be mild again this weekend but as this winter has shown us it didn't stick around for very long. so enjoy the 50 degree temperature while they are with us. current temperatures 37 in norwood, 34 in worcester, 38 for bedford, very typical for this time of year but we're going to start to push in some of this milder air that you are seeing here. 60 for detroit. 64 for cincinnati. we don't quite make it into the 60's but 50 degrees is closer to april standards than february for sure. before the 50's though, some flakes moving through and you can see that happening here in eastern new york state and also

state right now and this is in response to a warm front believe it or not. the two don't seem like they should come together but this is giving us enough lift and moisture to pop those snowflakes across us over tonight. but it's not a lot of snow and it is sort of band after band and then it's done before it changes to rain. so here we go with the time line here. you can see those temperatures are in the low to mid 30's and the snow is falling right around midnight and we could see the snow continue to fall in the worcester hills, northern worcester county, not of route 2 but that warm air is already starting to move in from the south and that's going to pop those temperatures up to 40 degrees by daybreak tomorrow and change that precipitation from snow and also some sleet to just some scattered showers and then look at where the temperatures go as we get into the afternoon. woe dry up, we make it to 50 degrees before possibly some more showers did move through in the afternoon and evening hours of tomorrow. so how much snow is on the way? anything we pick up will melt
5:24 pm
to an inch best chance north of the mass pike and in the worcester hills. now the precipitation chance for tomorrow we've got that shot early on and then again in the evening hours but for the bulk of the day we're dry and again right around 50 degrees feeling nice. 27 rising to mid 30's to near 40 by daybreak tomorrow. our lows tomorrow will likely happen after midnight tonight before we see those temperatures get a boost. 46 to 55 with the spot sprinkle tomorrow, wow, those temperatures are pretty incredible. 56 not out of the question for norwood. now if you are headed up to the slopes this week, still a fantastic weekend to do so mild temperatures there and maybe some snow showers tomorrow morning as i mentioned before, fleeting mild weather, we're back to normal for the beginning of next week and next week is starting to look a little active active. very active paten. that starts with monday, glancing blow from a system that could bring us some more wintery mix, snow and sleet right around the time for the morning commute on monday.
5:25 pm
