reaction sends a moving truck right over a guardrail. the crash trapping the driver inside the burning truck giving rescuers little time to save his life. sara french shows you how they did it. >> reporter: a complicated rescue with no time to waste over the span of six minutes what started a minor collision led to four vehicles crashing. one of them a budget moving truck flu officer the edge of the causeway, landed below and caught fire . kept the fire in check, we could see the driver as still alive and ten we had to do the rescue operation to get him you of that . >> anchor: that rescue took close to an our and included thousands of fire fighters from surrounding areas. the driver was conscious but trapped in the cab and the biggest challenge was access. can't get there really by the roads and fire engine so we had to do all of our operations from up here on top of the roadway so a big challenge of we whatted to do things real quick quickly .
