right here on nbc. a man with a gun has been arrested after saying let's off some cops. it happened late last night. two men were allegedly smoking marijuana when one of them, an 18-year-old allegedly said, let's off some cops and showed the other a gun inside his bag. the other man was surprised and turned the suspect into police. the 18-year-old into custody and found a fully loaded revolver inside his bag. the man who turned him in was released after being interviewed by police. an investigation is still underway. at least 55 people and several others have been killed after massive landslides in nepal. the cause, three days of monsoon rain. watch as the suspension bridge collapses as the water takes out

>> this is 7news now. >> christa: good morning, everybody. ready the start off your thursday morning on 7news "today in new england." ism here are some stories we're working on for you today. crews battling a huge house fire in brookline. heavy flames could be seeing going through the roof in that home on winthrop road. no word yet on what fire. >> christa: and several people rushed to the hospital after a serious rollover crash in abington. police say a car hit a pedestrian and ended up on its roof. we're told two people were seriously injured, including a person who was walking. the cause is still under review. >> nick: a falmouth man is in custody at a hospital after an hour's long standoff in mashpee. the 41-year-old barricaded himself inside the building and told police he had an assault rifle. he surrendered several hours later.
