at the beach. >> anchor: the case is prompting major changing to summer camp. brandon gunnoe with all the details. >> reporter: at 2:15 the director and the life guards had the kids get out of the water. the boy was seen getting out of the water. some time in the next 15 minutes he went missing. how and when exactly did this kid go back into the water. the boston police commissioner said the death drowning. >> it breaks our heart. it breaks everyone's heart. >> reporter: sometime after 2 2:15 the 7 year old went back into the water. >> we can guess here that you lose sight of a kid for seconds a tragedy like this can happen. >> reporter: investigators say

furniture on fire to start this flames. fire marshals say the fire ered for an hour and a half before the building exploded. 4 people died in that fire. they were all in the same apartment. 2 of the victims were children. >> anchor: a couple reaching a plea deal. investigators say it stemmed from tainted steroids made at the new england compounding center. dan hausle has the >> reporter: they're the first to plead among the more than do len arrested after the feds shut down a new england compounding center. operators of the framingham company knowingly sent tainted drugs around the country. 64 people died in 7 states. hundreds more were sickened in a meningitis outbreak. the lawyer said the couple had nothing to do with the day-to-day operation of the couple.

twitter today. could have saved 10s of millions more. >> anchor: an elderly woman sexually upon assaulted inside her home. they say a woman more than 70 years old called 911 after a stranger broke into her house and assaulted her. police launched a search for him. but it came up empty. >> suspect fled out the door of her house. that's what allowed her to call 911. our officers responded there. several officers including a canine officer. we were unable to track pick up the location where the suspects went. >> anchor: that woman was treated and released from the hospital. >> anchor: a syrian refugee is behind bars this morning accused of molesting a teenagener lowell. amaka ubaka with the details from lowell. >> reporter: a 22 year old

is facing time behind bars after police say he inappropriately touched a 13 year old girl at this pool in lowell. approached her and touched her upper leg and asked her age. she said she told him she was too young for him and walked away. she says he touched her thigh for the second time. that's when she told him she was a little kid and to leave her 15 years old. >> reporter: he denies speaking or touching the teen. he admitted he may have bumped into the girl while swimming. >> they got to follow the rules here. >> reporter: let refugee has been in the u.s. 2 months and assisted by the international institute of new england. they refuse to comment. in a statement the department of conservation and recreation

incident was caught on surveillance cameras outside liquor store on revere street in winthrop. prosecutors say the suspect asked the 25 year old victim if she wanted to go for a ride. patio began to follow the woman on foot before he attacked. inside his car during this his 3 year old daughter. >> something is wrong with the guy. drugs or something that would make somebody do something like that. >> reporter: the victim screamed. investigators say the woman and a witness at the 7/11 managed to take down his license plate which led to patio's event arrest. >> these types of crime dos have potential to be repeated before their initial acts. >> i'm glad that they've caught him. do justice and gets the help that he needs. >> reporter: left to wonder

>> i made it for a project in brooklyn. >> reporter: finished sea gull cinderella back in 2012. after a few different stops the colorful concept is on display on the city sea port art walk. this work of art is causing controversy. >> everyone has a different opinion about art. art can be personal. >> reporter: an online petition was launched to try to get the sculpture the person leading the charge writing it reflects poorly on our city. not everyone agrees. a rival facebook page was set up in support of sea gull cinderella. people who enjoy the sculpture and want it to stay put. >> let's have a conversation about this. let's use this surge of interest in the community to do something positive for the community.
