president obama saying it was time to resolve the payment dispute. a new front opens in the fight against isis. the pentagon along with libya's government confirmed the u.s. has launched precision air strikes. officials say no u.s. ground forces are involved in the push toward isis held territory. u.s. africa command believes the group has approximately 5,000 fighters in the city. this all comes on the heels of uncovered classified documents showing an isis heat map. the map received by the white house and dated august 2016 was prepared by the national counterterrorism center. it shows isis growing from 7 countries in 2014 to 189 countries with 18 countries in 2016.

welcome back, everybody. florida health officials identified another home grown zika case yesterday. the latest case raises the number of infected people to 15. it's also heightening fears that mosquitos could be spreading the diseas neighborhood. so far, officials have identified a one square mile area just north of downtown miami where active transmission is taking place. officials are ramping up efforts against mosquitos by conducting more insecticide sprays. a gruesome scene on a california highway. a bus ran full speed into a pole. it ripped the bus apart and trapped some of the injured in their seats for hours.

limbs. only four of the 30 mexican passengers escaped unscathed. the ntsb is now sending a team to investigate the crash. and finally, shoppers could not believe what was behind the wheel of a car as it crashed into the side of a walmart in west virginia. an employee saw a slow moving car inching its way to the building and when she looked in, she saw this beautiful pooch. the owner left the dog alone inside the car with the vehicle some air and it decided to take off. that's when, yeah, the joyride occurred. police responded to the scene shortly after the crash. no one was hurt including the furry creature. thankfully. all right. think back to your last dentist visit. you were most certainly bombarded with instructions to floss at least once a day. according to a new report it may not be necessary at all. more on flossing.

hear flossing is not needed. how is this possible? >> well, apparently there was never a lot of really strong research behind that recommendation. the government has been telling us for almost 40 years to floss to get rid of cavities but when the associated press started asking questions about why, suddenly that recommendation was dropped by the government last year. they looked at 25 different studies and found there was weak or very little evidence that flossing cavities. the american dental association and other associations of dental specialists still recommend flossing, but when asked about it again, not a lot of evidence. there are some studies out there that support it, but there seem to be a lot more studies that don't show a strong correlation at all and so now suddenly the government has dropped that recommendation that flossing is necessary to prevent those cavities, something that we all grew up hearing. >> and you know what?
