said the nature and extent of student and staff experiences attitudes and perceptions are comparable to be what we've seen in many racially diverse schools across the country. the school district says it's following up well discipline in some cases. mandatory training in others and a district-like plan for discussions of race in the classrooms. boston mayor walsh reacted saying any incident of racial bias in our schools is unacceptable and that's why we've system that will ensure every student's voice is heard. i am confident that the new leadership at boston latin will ensure all students are in an environment where they feel safe to learn. >> the report also said that the schools need do a better job communicating with the parents. the school district says it's already working on that problem. we're live in boston, dan hausle, 7news.

everything was fine. >> you filed it hard to believe? >> i do. >> reporter: the d.a.'s office says several police cruisers were responding to a 911 call when cordero and another biker came through. investigators say the police car slowed down but it was too late. >> beyond sad. that's for sure. too young. had his whole life ahead of him. >> the two officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. as for the district attorney's office, they say t friends and family say their loved one was wearing a helmet. in fall river tonight, kelli o'hara, 7news. >> a pole goes through the windshield of an suv. it was just inches from the driver's face and investigators say the driver hit two pashed cars argue light post and a chain-link fence. the pole from that fence is what crashed through the windshield there. the driver was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. friends and family are saying goodbye to an 7-year-old
