one woman is dead and others are injured in that attack. londoners are waking up today is an increased police presence as a precaution. let's go to matt who joins us live from london. what's the latest in this investigation? >> reporter: i don't know if you can see, but as you mentioned there is an increased police presence and there's really atypical for this tranquil city. as you can see behind me, there's some police ce an area in front of russells square here in the heart of central london and that's because lost night there was a knifing and that left one woman dead, five injured. three of those people very sent home from hospital and the 1-year-old is now 19-year-old is in custody. police subdued him with a taser gun. the major ran on a platform of

he's urging britains to remain calm and vigilant and report suspicious activity to police officers. the motive is unclear. police are not ruling out terrorism, but they are saying that it's probably a mental health issue or at least mental health is a significant factor in all of this and remember, this is all playing out over the backdrop of an increasingly jitter eye euro jittery europe. here concerns are normally tranquil england and just this week police announced they were going to be arming 600 additional police officers. that's raising the number of armed police officers here in london to 2,800 and that's rare. normally police in britain are famously unarmed and all of this because of this increasing spectra of terrorism across europe. >> thank you so much. well, the trump campaign is

the virus and a defense official says all had recently traveled to areas affected by zika. in florida no new cases have been reported but officials are still on alert. florida governor announce yesterday that all pregnant women in the state would be provided free testing for the virus. meanwhile the national institutes of health launch the first trials of a vacne wednesday. animal tests were encouraging but it will take some time before a vaccine is widely available. the cdc is encouraging people to use the bug repellant deet which is safe for pregnant women and children. chaos inside a passenger jet moments after it crash landed in do baio. a plane arriving from india started billowing smoke.
