she made history winning gold in the london gales for her judo skills. trey daerr with more on what she is saying about her return to the olympic games. kim, one of the top returning gold medalists from those games is as you mentioned kayla harrison. the top ringed competitor lives in danvers and trains in wakefield. she won gold in london in 2012 amazingly just five months after a serious knee injury. harrison is the first american ever to win gold in judo and tonight she gets to walk the opening ceremony as a olympic champion. i am super excited for tonight. last, in london the olympics, the opening ceremonies were kind of what really made me realize like this is it, kayla. this is your dream. so i am excited to get that feeling again and i will walk with my coach, big jim, who has been in judo for 40 years and who never walked in the opening singapore airlines so i am really excited to share this home with himp it's going to be amazing. >> anchor: she said she will likely retire after rio so she said this is her chance to build
