now an update with what the divers are up against. >> not too many people are happy with having to do this but the explanation of what we have been it seems the water tanks ran out of some of the chemicals necessary for the water treatment process. as a result the ph level was outside the usual range. they say there was no risk to usl to drain one of the affected pools and transfer nearly a million gallons of clear water from a nearby practice pool in time for the start of synchronized swimming. the adjacent smaller pool will continue to be used for the diving competition though does remain murky. from green to gold it's the only color one has seen and the 2?time olympic judo champion. she may be fearless when it comes to competition.
