7news. we're staying on top of breaking news out of harvard. take a look at this mess, that's debris on the road. this is the ramp off of route 2 westbound, that is exit 38b. as you can imagine, it's causing major delays as crews work to clean up the area. they tell us the ramp will likely be closed all evening. >> also on 7, tree trouble in reading. part of an 80-foot oak came crashing down on to a exphowses there was a woman inside when down electrical lines leaving people without power. steve cooper is live in reading and spoke with the homeowner there. steve. >> yeah, this was really one wild scene this afternoon. you look behind us here tonight and the road is till blocked off. you can see neighbors still down there watching all the clean-up that's going on right now, but all this after a homeowner just got back from a bike ride this afternoon when a huge tree came crashing into her house. >> it was a loud crack.

think. >> reporter: joan describing the snap, crack and pop as she watched as this massive oak tree came crashing down around noontime. >> it looked for a second like it might not hit the house, but did. >> reporter: the 80 foot red oak tumbling down on to wetzel's home here on county road and reading and turned out to be double trouble when the tree split in two. >> i sought one -- i saw one go over on to the house and the next second the other went wierts down. >> reporter: timing is everything. wetzel had just come home after a bike ride and was in the grawjt when the tree snapped. >> obviously if i had been coming down the hill 10 seconds later on my bike, i would have gotten hit. but that didn't happen, fortunately. >> reporter: a huge sigh much relief but a homeowner's headache nonetheless that her husband blames on the drought. >> i think the drought conditions had something to do with it because there was the exact same type of tree that fell up the street about two

also restore power to the neighborhood. wetzel says she's just glad everyone's fine. >> it's just a building. the building can be repaired. >> so the power was just restored a short time ago. wetzel says they're busy working with insurance adjusters at this hour, tallying up all the damage here. the hope here is they're back in their house sometime tomorrow. live in reading tonight, steve cooper, 7news. we're following more news today, police ar a suspect in a deadly attack in east boston. investigators say what started as an early morning fight ended up with one man being stabbed to death on the street. people there tried to save them but they weren't able to do that. police and neighbors say the house where the fighting started has become a problem. >> this house is a problem for

no charges have been filed. a massachusetts man arrested for reckless driving. police say he was going 119 miles per hour on i-93 in new hampshire. officers say kyle tarine was spotted weaving in and out of traffic this morning. 22 years old from dighton. he was pulled over and charged with reckless driving and possession of a controlled drug. developing right now, olympic swimmer ryan lochte's claims of being robbed at gun 90 question. authorities want to speak with him. ryan schultz ieghts has the latest on the twist in the investigation. >> yeah, the judge ordered the swimmers' passports to be seized while authorities investigate their claim that they were robbed at gunpoint but they're already back in the usa. lochte says they were robbed sunday morning as they came back from a party. police say there's no evidence so far to support their claims and say the swimmers weren't
