officials say the pilot, a student pilot, lost power, engine power, while he was up in the air. the crash happened in wooded area on harwood avenue. since the pilot knew the area pretty well, he guided the plane down, the plane glided even without engines and he went downhill. hit some trees before stopping and he was not injured. >> anchor: also on 7, new video of a framingham teen-ager police say tried to kill his mother and brother while on vacation in florida were getting our first at newton south high school. this video shows him being escorted by police officers. they then book him on attempted murder charges. 7's ryan schulteis joins us now with 911 calls and they are tough to listen to from the night of the crime. >> anchor: they sure are. it gives you some sense of the confusion and desperation after this vicious attack. the 911 calls came from a framingham woman on vacation in florida. melissa ramgren and her son both brutally stabbed of the woman's

the 25-year-old shanitqua steel was in court accused of running three peel over without a car, driving without a license and other charges. her attorney said in court it was a tragic accident and she only left the scene to find her husband, but witnesses say she ran into chipolte. this happened around noon at the corner of school and washington street in downtown crossing. investigators say a 63-year-old woman from spain, 45-year-old mother from millford who we spoke to and nine-year-old son were hit when steel ran the red light in a bought from her family. the victim received non-loaf threatening injuries but the older woman broke her hip and the boy suffered a contusion to his leg. that driver is facing several charges. we're told she will be back this court next month. live in downtown boston, brandon gun oh, 7 news. >> anchor: investigators will get to review convict killer aaron hernandez's cell phone to prepare for the former patriots second murder trial. the state's highest court

hand over that phone which is believed to contain key evidence. the phone will be analyzed at a computer crime lab. hernandez is already serving a life sentence for the murder of odin lloyd. >> anchor: also here at 6:00, a food services worrer at worker it polytech nick institute off the job and in custody after police say she made alarming threats against the school. heather lines a 23-year-old woman from worcester this court today. police say she kept a journal that detailed her desire to hurt people and blow them up at w the journal came to light when the woman's therapist reported it to police. wpi release adstatement today and said in part there is currently no active threat to our campus, nor was there any evidence of eminent danger. officers have conducted an extensive sweep of our campus and found nothing of concern. finally, we are monitoring the situation and will share updates as they become available. >> anchor: and now to a developing story. the international olympic committee says it will investigate swimmer rhine lochte

possible against the star swimmer and three teammates. also today lochte is apologizing for lying about being robbed at gun point by police in rio. lochte posted an apology on instagram and twitter saying i want to apologize for my behavior last weekend, for not being more careful and candid in how i described the events of that early morning. i accept responsibility for my role in this happening and have learned some valuable lessons. while lochte left rio right after the incident, the with the police there. jimmy feigan was released just today. he had to pay about $11,000 of fines and the others, jack cogner around gunner benz returned to their hole. they found out lochte's story didn't hold water due to extensive surveillance footage showing swimmers at different places throughout the course of the night. that includes a gas station where they vandalized a bathroom. >> anchor: let's head into the littlic zone right now.

true. a 13-year-old boy known as the boston piano kid gets to perform with none other than billy joel last night and the two wowed the crowd at fenway park. >> anchor: officialsy jealous there. the young piano master proving he has the chops to hang with legends. tim caputo live in boston with a look at the experience. tim? >> reporter: he was so pumped when i talked to him earlier today about all that happened last night. he shared the stage with billy joel at fenway park, but for this young man the less than 24 hours later he was here at faneuil hall performing solo. he is only 13 years old and he is already kind of a big shot. it's an amazing night for me. i had so much fun. >> anchor: this afternoon bradley is forring in front of a small crowd at faneuil hall last night. he was on stage at a sold out fenway park playing with billy joel. i was euphoric. i couldn't help myself.
