which is the police chief says helped them make a quick arrest. 49 year old kevin scribener tries to avoid our camera in the courtroom. arrested thursday after 3 women came forward. 2 accused him of exposing and touching himself. all 3 incidents happen within a short time of each other in the maple wood area of malden. >> the individual was described as a white male carrying a backpack. the calls approximately 15 minutes of each other. >> reporter: police say scribener fit that description. he told officers he was homeless. >> they did note that this male appeared to be sweating heavily. his t-shirt was soaked with sweat. >> reporter: all 3 women were able to id scribener as the suspect. he admitted to police that he did expose himself. >> he stated he has a mental

>> reporter: scribener has a lengthy criminal past in several states. >> in massachusetts and south carolina and california. they are all -- the charges are like in similar offenses essential all sexual offenses. >> reporter: while worried parents in the area are relieved that he's been caught. >> he's on their radar. aware of the fact that he's displaying this type of behavior. maybe he can be stopped or prevent anyone from being scarred. >> reporter: now police say they may seek search warrants for scribener's cell phone and flash drives to see if there are illegal videos or photos of other women. now now he remains held in jail without bail. amaka ubaka 7 news. ; also on 7 police in woburn investigating a toddler tragedy. all while in the care of his baby sitter.

the details tonight. >> reporter: at this hour investigators are waiting for an autopsy report. but at this time there have been no arrests. investigators come and go from the woburn apartment building the last place little noah was before he was rushed to medical care and died at children's hospital. >> it's heart breaker. >> reporter: a family friend who has a toddler of her own was baby tt sister. emergency responders were called here and found the boy was unresponsive but breathing. noah was taken to winchester hospital. he died thursday. >> nobody wants to hear that. especially since the child never even began his life. you know it's pretty -- it's sad. >> reporter: the middlesex county district attorney says the boy suffered a fractured skull. his twin sister was hospitalized

children and families got involved. she was also hurt and in a cast. >> i would like to know who did it and why they did it. if it was an accident. it would be nice to find out who -- what caused it, what happened the story. and prevent things like this happening in the future. >> they posted a sign on their door requesting prayers and privacy now. dcf has had no prior involvement with noah and has taken other children. and at this hour a gofundme page popped up to pay for the funeral expenses of this boy. reporting live from woburn 7 news. >> anchor: authorities say this wooded area is near harwood avenue. the pilot is an 18 year old flight school student.
