nancy? >> nancy: good evening. jimmy feigen now on his way back to the united states as two of his teammates issue apologies for their behavior. swimmers breaking their silence. ryan lochte posting on instagram, "i want to apologize for my behavior last weekend, for not being more careful and candid in how i described the event of that early morning." bentz also but bentz stressing he never lied. he writes, "i was never a suspect in the case from the beginning. brazilian law enforcement officials saw me only as a witness, and i never made a false statement to anyone at any time." he then went on to detail what happened that night, including how the swimmers relieved themselves on nearby bushes, how lochte tore a sign down and how ultimately they were forced to sit on the sidewalk by guards with guns drawn.

money to leave. lochte originally told the "today show's" billy bush that he and his teammates were robbed at gunpoint by men posing as police officers. it didn't take long for officials to figure out that's not what happened. authorities stopped bentz and jack conger from leaving the country to get to the bottom of it. after hours of questioning, they were cleared the head home thursday night, but teammate jimmy feigen didn't get his passport back until friday morning after he revised his original statement. >> they c these problems. what they need to do is go over and tell the truth. i got drunk. i broke a few things. i got involved in confusion. big deal. >> nancy: feigen was forced to pay nearly $11,000 in restitution to a brazilian charity. the incident will likely haunt lochte who left for the united states before his robbery claim unraveled. the gold medalist could still

celebrity heart-throb. and today they came face to face. also needham native aly raisman never miss a step in her routine, but the olympic gold medalist confessed she did miss a key item while packing for rio. ly tell you what it is later on in the show. for now back to you, kim and adam. >> adam: a lot of stuff to look forward to, nancy. we'll see you in a bit. thanks. >> kim: and we're following a developing story. an arrest made after a stabbing in woburn. here's the night team's bookman. >> kimberly: kim, police say the suspect in this case was wearing a shirt with a company logo on it. that information mixed with images from surveillance video as well as social media information all helped lead them to crack this case and make an i.r.s. it was a brutal scene early this morning outside jake and yes's restaurant in woburn. police say one man was stabbed in the upper body and was bleeding profusely on the ground. he was taken to the leahy clinic with life-threatening injuries.

police say it's unclear what led to the stabbing. what they do know is that both men were inside the restaurant earlier and both left around closing time. jake & joe's is a fairly new family-style restaurant in the area, and police say this kind of violence is unusual. >> this isn't normal. it's a fluke. it happened. within 18 hours we were able to identified, locate and arrest an individual. these officers worked all night and through the day today to identify, locate and james lyons in his 30s from the city of woburn, under arrest on the charge of assault with intent to commit murder. >> kimberly: that suspect is being held here at the police department on $50,000 cash bail. he's expected to be arraigned on monday. reporting live from woburn, kimberly bookman, 7news night team. >> kim: now to a story you'll see on just one station. a convicted sex offender accused of more dirty crimes in malden. women coming forward saying he

them. the niengt team's amaka ubaka live in malden now. >> amaka: well, kim, this police report has all the details. three incidents that happened within a half mile of each other, one of them right here in this alley. police say because these three women called 911 so fast, they were able to make a quick arrest. 49-year-old kevin scribner tried to hide from our camera in the courtroom. the level three sex offender arrested thursday aftern exposing and touching himself, one here in this alley in maplewood square, the other a woman sitting in this restaurant saw him expose himself through a window. >> it's scary and it's crazy because i didn't even think something like that would happen. >> amaka: a third woman claims he grabbed her chest near this intersection, a place filled with restaurants and local businesses, like this woman's hair salon. >> it's unbelievable, like i'm very scared. i'm nervous. >> amaka: all three women

of each other with a good description. police say when they found scribner, he told officers he was homeless and took the "t" from boston to visit a friend in malden. >> they did note that this male appeared to be sweating heavily. his t-shirt was soaked with sweat. >> amaka: all three women were able to i.d. scribner as the suspect, and police say he later admitted he did expose himself and did assault the woman. >> he stated that he had a sexual mental health problem and he can't control himself. >> amaka: while people in the area are relieved he's off the streets. >> he should be ashamed of himself, and she shouldn't go around trying to assault women, like that's crazy. >> amaka: court records show scribner has a lengthy criminal history, not just here in massachusetts, but also south carolina and california, all related to sexual offenses. tonight he's being held without bail. we're live in malden, imaka ubaku, 7news night team. >> now from the night team,

>> the last thing i would want to be on miami beach is a mosquito. >> the zika virus causing a south beach scare. >> adam: it's one of the most popular hot spots in the country, but tonight it's a hot zone. pregnant women being told to avoid south beach as the zika virus spreads there. jadiann thompson live in the newsroom with the latest. jadiann? >> jadiann: travel alert was issued for pregnant women, their partners as well as women who may become pregnant, asking them to avoid two zones. now the total number of cases in a part of miami beach is now the second zone where the zika virus is being transmitted. the area now in a cloud of insecticide from the ground because planes can't fly near the tall buildings. governor rick scott requesting additional support from the c.d.c. >> we'll do everything we can to help pregnant women all across our state. we have a safe state. and we're going to keep it that way. >> jadiann: today florida officials announced local mosquitoes infected five people,

25-year-old steele shanitqua is being held on $5,000 cash bail after she ran a red light and plowed her car into a group of people yesterday afternoon. she left the scene, police say, but was later found at a nearby restaurant. she's facing several charges, including operating without a license. three people had to go to the hospital after this one victim a nine-year-old boy. witnesses acted quickly and were able to lift the car off one victim. steele will be appearing back in court for trial september 14th. >> kim: former patriots' star aaron hernandez on t, lawyers hand over a phone believed to contain key evidence. fruiters say it has information linked to the alleged shooting of hernandez's former friend, alexander bradley. hernandez goes on trial in february, charged with a drive-by shooting in the south end back in 2012. of course, he's currently serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of odin lloyd. >> adam: also from the night team, new details in a row burn toddler tragedy. babysitter watching a young boy who died has turned her own

the young boy who passed away yesterday was rushed to the hospital monday. he was being watched in the home of a 24-year-old woman. she was watching that boy and his twin sister. emergency responders called to the scene say they found the boy unresponsive but breathing. he was taken to boston children's hospital where he died yesterday. apparently he had a fractured skull. his twin sister has also been hospitalized with injuries requiring a cast. a small plane goes crashing into the woods in littleton. police say a flying the single-person plane when he lost power. they say the pilot guided the plane enter a field. they went downhill and into those trees. no one was injured. >> kim: we have exciting news about the future of 7news. at the start of next year, we will be expanding the amount of news we bring you every day. to give you more options and coverage you won't see anywhere else. 7's dan hausle gives you a
