we understand that people were being removed from the home. we can see them. they're being interviewed. police tell us no arrests have been made but they're doing this as a protective sweep as they go through the home. they're going to talk to the people more and possibly some arrests, but so far no arrests have been made at this point right now. >> jadiann: also here on 7 and uber driver under arrest in malden. police say that the driver assaulted an elderly woman with disabilities. >> ryan: the suspect did face a judge. kelli o'hara malden with the details on the case. >> reporter: the 21-year-old uber driver is accused of stealing hundreds in crash and credit cards from this elderly disabled woman then shoving her. >> did you assault the woman? willson in handcuffs under arrest. the driver is charged with assaulting and robbing an elderly disabled woman after he wept to hiss her house to

take this. she then indicated that he grabbed her hand bag and a bag of medicine she had on the bed. as he started to leave, she tried to stop him and pushed her back. >> reporter: prosecutors say the man took off with hundreds of dollars in crash and credit cards not to be seep or heard from gun until police arrested the 21-year-old earlier said. we went by the victim's house but she declined to comment. this is the third incident in weeks out of this courthouse. just yesterday a 28-year-old charged with exposing himself to young women in malden, etch rhett while in his car. earlier another uber driver was charged with raping a teen after she called for a ride to school. we did reach out to uber for comment. we are awaiting a statement back. the man is going to be in court later this months month. kelli o'hara, 7 news. >> jadiann: danger on the job at a site in cambridge where one worker was sent to

the accident happening this morning on mass avenue near porter square. five crews rushed to the scene where they found a seriously injured construction worker. the worker is being treated. no word on the cause of the accident rain. sky 7 h.d.over route 1 in revere where there were reports of a truck that caught fire. the bed of the truck appears to be charred as crews lift it on to the bed of a tow truck. parts of route 1 northbound was closed while the scene was crash, police pulled over a man for speeding in epping. after police took his license and found a warrant out for an arrest he took off. the chase ended when he slammed into another vehicle. not involved. hurting two of the person's passengers and the passenger in the other car. he took off from the scene on foot. police are searching for him also tragedy in bristol, new hampshire.

struggling in the water. this at profile falls. police say the children were playing when one of them started to struggle so the 39-year-old man jumped in to help but went under and didn't come back up. >> ryan: rhode island fire officials have burning questions after a massive fire at a vacant mill. investigators say the fire is suspicious. the building went up in flames early monday morning. investigators believe it was no power at the mill. the teenager accused of taking a deadly drive in rhode island in court. police say the 17-year-old was understood the influence when he hit a motorcycle killing the driver. the crash happened monday afternoon on route 1. >> jadiann: more news today, a fundamentalist church leader in uit is a, wanted by the f.b.i. the feds are on the hunt and they're offering the reward.

we have a front that sweeps through new england. as we head through wednesday night into thursday it's going to knock the system out to sea. again gaston no threat to land at all. as it does stay a hurricane for a while, it's headed well out to the atlantic so we're not concerned with it. however, it is helping to turn up the ocean and so there is a high risk for rip current specifically there near t.d.8. then up here in new england, a moderate risk for rip current keep that in mind if you are headed to the beach within the days that is something to watch. i've seen a lot of pictures of the waves and they're pretty but you might want to stand back and end joy the beach from the sand on the shore. highs tomorrow will be a great beach day if you can swing it into the mid upper 80s not out of the question for a few spots to hit the 90 degree mark then he come more in line with our 30-year averages. we get a front that pushes through as i mentioned before. wednesday into thursday, and
