slammed into the back of that shuttle bus. >> i feel bad for the family. >> reporter: tragedy early this morning here in east boston along route 1a after police say a when it-year-old wawmp scott man driving the 2005 subaru plowed into the impact of a hampton inn courtesy shuttle that had just picked up four people at logan airport. really sad. >> reporter: the impact sent the van, driven by a 53-year-old man from east boston, crashing into a jersey barrier and troopers bus, a 59-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both from el paso, texas, were thrown from the van and pronounced dead at the scene. >> you come on vacation and don't even make it to your destination. it's unfortunate. >> the driver of the van and two other passengers politics the driver of the subaru were rushed to area hospitals. state police trying to determine why the driver of the car slammed into the shuttle. with a horrifying scene that's

police say for some reason things turned hostile with one of of the friends ending up with life-threatening injuries and another now accused of driving to kill him. >> you are charged with count 1, around assault to murder. >> reporter: 18-year-old curtis day of beverly standing before a judge accused of around assault to murder and several other the hospital after being stabbed with a broken golf club tuesday afternoon. >> the golf club entered through the back area of mr. dow's front shoulder and exited through the body. he was conscious and airlifted to a hospital. >> reporter: police say the two and another friend were at the breakhart reservation in wakefield where they allegedly told police they'd taken lsd, marijuana and heroin. police say for some reason the

few showers possible late tonight into tomorrow morning and we clear out slowly tomorrow idternoon. low sunshine, low humidity, we'll watch tropical storm hermine going through the holiday weekend. again, right now it does not look like a major player in our weather but it may trend that way. it has been trending closer the last couple days. winds right now at 45 miles per hour. it does strengthen up to around 70 miles per hour before making

weaken. so that it's back down to 40, 45 miles per hour. monday at 2:00 p.m., 45 miles per hour, the gray shading here indicating the cone of uncertainty. new england is in that cone of uncertainty and so is this area south. this location here, probably just fringe effects, meaning some rainshower activity sunday night and monday m cooling north of the main center of low pressure itself with a bit of a itrtheasterly breeze. than just, you know, a bit of a nor easter. not a powerhouse nor easter. the challenge is this blocking high pressure. the models are having a hard time figuring out this far out just how much blocking happens. a couple of days ago we would think the whole thing would stay to our south and now it looks like we may be close enough to at least throw new england into the fringe effect, if you will. it's still a possibility that the area of high pressure intensifies and it blocks hermine or whatever's left of
