this was updaded to a hurricane a couple of hours ago, a well defined iwall here. ahead of the eye wall the center of the storm we have tropical feeder bands working up into the panhandle of florida. and hermine is moving north-northeast at about 14 miles an hour. so at that pede likely to make land fall later this evening crossing apalachiocola bay then perhaps tallahassee later on, about 10:00, 11:00, wind at 75 miles an hour. down to 50 miles an hour because it's going to spend sometime over land. the tropical systems get all of their energy from the warm ocean water. it's back over water late in the weekend but it's not enough to regenerate up into a powerful storm or hurricane, sunday morning 8:00 am winds at 50 miles an hour, you in the the readline. that is the track of the storm. the certainty of the storm. there is never a cross up into new england. we're in the cone of uncertainty because at that stage in the forecast, there

she is accused of attacking a man with an ice pack inside a pizza parlor on wednesday. the man was stabbed in the back while others were in the restaurant. no one else was hurt. tucker's attorney say his client was overcome with anger after her daughter died on a heroin overdose. >> thee took matters into her own hands. she went looking for the have supplied the heroin to her daughter. >> reporter: the man had a relationship with tucker's daughter. tucker was arrest and charged with attempted murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. she is being released on $500 cash bail. she will be getting gps monitoring. >> she was' acting purely out of anger. i explain that had to the judge. the judge i think agreed. the commonwealth was asking for $5,000 cash bail and under the conditions the

her classmates. parents are demanding answers from the school district. the woman says her daughter loves school. >> i used to like it but now i don't. >> reporter: something changed late last week. >> friday morning, i went to put her sandals on her and she started crying. i don't want to wear those. i asked her why? she said because my teacher threw them in the trash can. i said, in the trash, why? she said playing with them. and she told me not to. >> reporter: she asked her daughter a few more questions about what happened. >> she said, mommy, i was walking around bare feet for about half hour with no shoes on. the children laughed at me and made fun of me. of my shoes being dirty and smelly. she told me to go in the trash can and get the shoes and put them back on. >> reporter: it's something the little girl hasn't forgotten about.

but here comes hurricane hermine although it will be downgraded to a tropical storm. the challenge is how far north do hermine's rain and wind make it up to new england. i don't think the certainty of the storm is anywhere close to new england. that would keep the strong of winds and the highest amount of rain south of new england but we may be on the northern edge of the storm system. sunday night and monday. because we'll have high pressure and a tropical system nearby that will keep the surf chu as the likelihood of rip currents even tomorrow and saturday. be mindful of that. with some rain possible sunday night and through the day on monday. the highest chance would be down into the shading here. the greatest chance of this happening would be down along the coast coast and the cape and the islands, it's not to say it's going to happen. it's just a much greater chance opposed to the lakes region or the berkshires. again we're talking about some gorgeous weather tomorrow and again on saturday.

hurricane in florida since 2005. a very long time but a rough night likely for the panhandle of florida. you can see the flareup right here. called the central dense overcalifornia. that is the flaring up of the thunderstorms around the eye wall. doppler radars well defined iwall. this is where you have your most intense wind but you can have these feeder bands that are out ahead also produce strong winds as well as heavy rain and tropical tornadoes. continues to lift northeast and likely to make land fall probably, she is going to go into appear lash cola bay as late as midnight tonight approaching tallahassee very late and overnight. winds at 75 miles an hour. a category 1 storm. north-northeast at 14 miles an hour. this is a brand new track from the hurricane center. there are no significant changes to that track at least in our part of the world.
