the pedestrian hit. sky 78 showing you the scene, police have taped off the scene. there is a white jeep at the top of the screen you'll see in a second. not leer whether that car was involved. we are reaching out to police and we will have updates this evening. also breaking some of boston's top police officers will be equipped with body cameras. police commissioner william evans announcing that the superintendent and other command staff members will be trained and equipped with the controversial cameras during the street duties. there was only one boston officer who volunteered to wear a body camera for the pilot program. this week we reported how the union is fighting to block the use of cameras for now, both sides arguing their case in court this week. a judge expected to make a decision by tomorrow. and we'll share that with you then. in the news room, kim khazei, 7 news. >> anchor: police in west

infant daughter. ryan barry pled guilty to manslawsuiter after his five month daughter died of an opioid overdose. they poisoned their child by feeding her baby formula that was laced with opioid. a gas like is to blame for an explosion, a home in franklin that killed and elderly couple. investigators say something ignited the gas that had been liking into the home. fire officials do not believe it was intentional. another box truck ended up getting stuck under the e street bridge. you can see the truck couldn't make it under bridge. the passenger tried to guide the driver away from the area. this bridge as you know has been a problem spot for years. ripping the top off trucks, causing head on collisions t height of the bridge will be raced in a few years. >> 6 people recovering after a carbon dioxide cincinnati like in watertown. a malfunctioning furnace caused

iowa racing to rescue a cat trapped in a home on fire. the fire owner tried to run in but overcome by the smoke. the firefighters were able to use spacialized equipment to bring cleo back to life. now she has one more life to live. >> white open. >> reporter: cleo appears lifeless, firefighters rushed to help her using a specialized oxman mask for animals. >> all i could think off, come on, you. >> after 30 minutes, a sign of hope. >> as time went on the cat started to slowly come to. started to meow. started to breathe on its own, move around. it was all positive indications that things were working well. >> firefighters rarely have to use the nine animal oxygen masks that were donated nearly a decade ago. >> this is seal, then we'll hook up some oxygen. >> anchor: a small, medium and
