5:23 pm
for us saturday and sunday but not a washout by any means and a fall like feel really settling in for the end of next week. those our first big taste of fall. i think it might even be a shock to the system. especially after this. 93 tied the record from last year, 93 if you remember it that was the ed of a heat wave, a september heat wave then after that last year we had no more 90 degree days to speak of for the rest of the year so. this could be it for us this year as well, 2190 degree days for boston dry one. we have had 21 as i mentioned but nowhere near that top record of 3090 degree days, still sitting at 91 in the city. 92 norwood, 90 bedford, 85 in worcester. it is certainly a warm one and it is also very humid. this is what made the struggle real today was those dewpoints in the mid to upper 60's even low 70's for a time where we're still sitting down on the cape
5:24 pm
you get above 60 that's when you can start to really feel the humidity. we'll still be there tomorrow. i think it's a muggy day for us then a little relief as we get into sunday, monday and tuesday. those will be stunners of days as we get into those days with plenty of sunshine and lower humidity as well. we had partly cloudy skies into this afternoon helping for those temperatures to make it into the 90's and no showers in sight at least not this evening or into the overnight hours. it's really into toow really a spot shower. hit and miss, we know the nature of it. it's been happening all summer long. it's sort of a series of fronts that move through. first opportunity will be into early tomorrow morning but i think that opportunity has passed by about 9:00 or 10:00 so if you have plans for tomorrow don't cancel them. don't change them. it's not a washout as i mentioned before. then another warm front pushes through as we make it into late saturday-early sunday. another cold front pushes through for our next chance of rain.
5:25 pm
to get some showers, how much rain are we talking about? not much. not much to speak of at all about a tenth of an inch to a quarter is the best we can hope for but this weekend looking like a good one again with those temperatures above average in the low 80's. overnight tonight partly cloudy, it is mild, it is muggy, 65 to 70. 76 to 84 for tomorrow. cooler than today, but still above average. here is a look at that 7 on 7 forecast as i promised that fall like feel front moves through on wednesday, thursday and friday we top out in the low 70's. >> anchor: bri, don't go anywhere. the sugar rush for a three-year-old baseball fan captured on the big screen. that's beatrix heart the newest internet sensation after a clip of her going cotton candy crazy goes viral. it happened the a seattle mariners game. see what happens when kids eat sugar? she actually was put up on the jumbotron. she is covered in cotton candy and clearly really excited about it. >> anchor: this is the first time beatrix tried cotton candy
