to this morning. >> it is very sad. i feel for the family. my heart goes out to them. >> reporter: with yellow police tape wrapped around the home here in methuen, shaken neighbors can only look on in disbelief after police say a woman in her late 20's was murdered overnight. >> i have met the girl a couple of times. but you know, just walking by, saying hi. it's very sad. it is too close to home. >> reporter: police were called to the townhouse sometime before 6:00 a.m. a well-being check and found the injured woman who was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. investigators sealed offer the crime scene for hours, leaving neighbors to wonder who did it. >> right now i don't know who did it. so i don't have anything to fear right now. >> reporter: the victim may have been strangled, sources say. neighbors tell us they used to see her playing outside all the time with her son. >> i know she had a little

we get these low humidity air masses combined with the longer overhigh ins. you can cool down. we saw that this morning. many suburbs started off in the low to mid-40's. some of the coolest starts to the day we have had in the last few months. 68 now in boston. 74 in new bedford. 71 in beverly. there will be a cooling sea breeze at the coast through the afternoon. you can see that already in boston. at 12 miles an hour. although you work your way inland. and the wind is out of the northwest. at 6-8 miles per hour. there is the breakdown there. kn tremendous spread in temperatures. dew point trend going up the next few days. but still, even if you add ten degrees on to the dew points today for tomorrow, you are smack-dab in the comfortable category. then we will bump it up into the muggies there on wednesday. scenely late in the afternoon. and early in the evening. the bottom falls out once again on thursday. behind another cool front that will work on in.

for us, the next couple of days controlled by this area of high pressure that continues to build. over us. and eventually east of us. once it goes east, the wind changes back to the southwest. we will warm up close to 80, if not above it tomorrow. well into the 8's on wednesday. mid to maybe a few upper 8's out there. dry ground, sunshine. southwesterly winds. i think we can get there on wednesday afternoon. now, late in the day, we track this cool front. that cool front will give us the next opportunity of some scattered showers and storms. near day's end on wednesday. if not until wednesday evening. moderate pollen counts early to midweek. shaping up here. the forecast for today, continuing with that sunshine. and low humidity. with an east to southeasterly breeze. tonight, another cool night. low humidity. long overnight. clear skies. we have that. light winds as well. 46 in the cooler suburbs. 58-60 in boston. the forecast. you bump up to temperatures. only to knock them back down by the end of the week. a ton of sunshine on thursday,
