news from methuen. a woman murdered in a home there the search now on for a killer and we've learned her four-year-old son was in that house. the child is physically okay. >> anchor: police are saying this does in the appear to be random. steve cooper is in methuen where our news conference just wrapped up with some more informs for us. it's very tragic. it didn't have to happen. that's very sad. methuen police were called to five true door street just before 6:00 in morning that's where the victim was discovered. she was clinging to life, rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. sources say she was choked to death. with the necessity of forced entry they found wanda rosa, 29 of this address, five true door street unresponsive. 27 years i have been living here and he has been living here just as long and never seen anything like it. investigators say her four-year-old son was in the house when she was assaulted but

the boy screaming "daddy, stop" but they never called 911. i know she had a little one. i have seen a guy there before but i didn't know if he lived there or not because i never really talked to them. just in passing by. >> reporter: sources say it was victim's ex-boyfriend that told his mother something happened and she called police. taken at such a young age for saying? it's abuse and it's sad. >> reporter: investigators have the crime scene sealed off for hours, leaving neighbors to wonder who did it? right now i don't know who did it. i don't have anything to fear. >> anchor: and again that woman the vague till hire is now been identified by essex county can't moments ago as 29-year-old wanda rosa, again the mother of a

rosa. the district attorney now telling us that investigators are looking for della rosa. they want to talk to him as a person of interest in connection with the murder here that happened early this morning and we're also being told by our sources that the victim in this case had a lifetime restraining order out against della rosa and again the investigation is ongoing right now but the district attorney now turning to the public asking for some help here. they say he is from lawrence. they been looking for him all stay long and again they are information on his whereabouts to come forward but again this area remains sealed off tonight. the crime scene continues here. investigators still processing everything that happened inside and so the investigation is active right now. live in methuen tonight, steve cooper, 7 news. >> anchor: a man accused of stabbing a new hampshire woman to death facing murder charges today. 37-year-old richard moore was arraigned in mrs. to you district court. police arrested moore last, late

murder the first say he has a lengthy criminal history going all the way whack to 1996. neighbors say the victim allowed moore who was a registered sex offender to rent a room her home to help pay the mortgage. police say after he killed her, he then called the police on himself and waited at the end of the driveway for officers to arrive. new at 5:00 now a tow truck up in flames on 495. this is out in littleton. if you were sending these pictures to 7 you can see the intense fire engulfing what was a truck. witnesses say there was a sml no word yet on an injury or the cause. >> anchor: now to the latest in the race for the white house beginning with health concerns for hilary clinton. we are getting new and more detailed information about her condition after this video showed the democratic presidential nominee needing help as she was stumbling as she left a september 11 memorial service at ground zero earlier today clinton canceled a campaign trillion to california.

for 20 years he remains silent about the still unsolved murder but today he told dr. phil why he chose not to talk until now. for a long time the media basically made our lives crazy. it's hard to miss the cameras and news trucks in your front yard and we go to the supermarket sometimes and there would be a tabloid, you know, with my pictures, jonbenet's picture, plastered on the front inch would follow us around. seeing that as a little kid just kind of chaotic so i was pretty skeptical of any sort of media like it just made me a very private person as to why i'm doing it now, it's the 20th anniversary and apparently still allot of attention around it. >> anchor: dr. phil went on the "today" show this morning to talk about the exclusive interview why he thinks burke finally broke his silence. he knew this was the 20 years anniversary and because he was starting to get bomb barred, people werifieding him, he knew his anonymity was gone. he said he wanted to control the narrative.

inside of a home. >> anchor: police are asking for your help to try and find a person of interest. kim khazei here in the newsroom with the breaking details for u. >> anchor: jadiann, ryan, investigators say the woman's four-year-old son was in their home when the murder happened. it happened on tudor street in methuen. her is a look at the neighborhood. police went thereafter they got a call from someone who knew this woman and suspected that something might have happened. well when they wept inside they found her unresponsive. they found her son unharmed. they are also hearing neighb stop." but none of the neighbors called police. the woman identified as wanda rosa, she was nouned dead at the hospital and investigators say it appears she was strangled to death. police are now asking for your help finding a person of interest. 32-year-old emilio della rosa. he is from lawrence and police are saying this was not random. they are assuring the public that they are safe.
