our temperatures tomorrow, even warmer than today. but wanted, rain. we certainly know. that it is almost becoming a tired headline. not for the pats home opener. luckily, it looks like it is more likely to get the widespread soaking on monday than tomorrow. but as we have talked about, we will take all the drops we can get. extreme drought conditions for more than half of the commonwealth. at this point. even stretching up into southern new hampshire. and even the tip of southern maine. we are almost ten inches below average for the year so far. worcester. fast deficit nast we have really gotten ourselves into at this point. as i mentioned before, we will take all the drops we can get. it is not the best scenario when it comes for a weekend. when you have outdoor plans. clouds increasing for us already. here is our line of some showers and even some strong storms. you can see these orange boxes here. western new york and pennsylvania. that indicates severe thunderstorm warnings. and even a tornado warning. that has popped up north of pittsburgh there.
6:18 pm
i don't anticipate widespread severe weather. it is a possibility that a thunderstorm could pop up. that would also be a good-case scenario. if it is not severe weather. it could drop a lot of rain very quickly on one location and then move on out. running through the timeline for tomorrow, it looks like hit or miss showers. isolated to widely scattered. so if you are headed to the pats home opener tomorrow, you might catch a shower. even to fenway for the red sox tomorrow. you might catch a shower. it looks more heavier rainfall to hold off until we hit monday. still possibly a rumblele of thunder embedded in here. a quick downpour before it moves out. if here is that line indicating some very heavy rainfall. the oranges and the reds. we could pick up an inch of rain. possibly more in isolated locations. we know with this pattern that we have had before, the fronts come through. and they leave us with more disappointment than any rainfall. however, this time around, we have what's left of julia
6:19 pm
we might be able to break us off a piece of that kit-kat bar. again, we could see an isolated report of one to two inches of rainfall, generally speaking. the other thing that is increasing tomorrow will be those dew points. fairly comfortable at this point. we are starting to creep up there. i reckon frizzy to even pony-tail as we get into tomorrow. tonight, clouds move. in very mild temperatures. patchy fog. 60-65. tomorrow, 76-83. i promised you opener forecast. again, bring the rain gear. but it doesn't look like you will end up leaving the game soaked. hopefully, we will end up leaving the game winners. a look at the 7 on 7 forecast. first day of fall arrives on thursday. after we get through this wet weather, we are in for summer to make a comeback. >> reporter: well, as good as the red sox offense has looked this year no, question this team can only go as far as the pitching can take them.
6:20 pm

6:22 pm
now we get so see what's in store for an encore. jimmy g showing up and showing out the tough test against arizona. noup he faces an equally challenging miami front 7. decision-making going to be at a premium. while his time in the pocket will be limited. >> you don't want to hold it back. especially with these guys. they are talented. the more you hold it, the more trouble you will be in. . >> they have a lot of good a good game against seattle last week. a low-scoring game. which tells you once you see the scoreboard, both defenses played very well. i think it will be another challenge. >> reporter: one of the advantages of tom brady's four-week vacation, getting the chance to roll into ann arbor on game day. they call it the big house. there is no question, it was brady's house today. >> four-time super bowl
