ahmad khan rahami seen in this cell tone video trying to run from police was ed by return fire but conscious as he was transported to a nearby hospita. there is no other individual we're looking for at this point in time. >> anchor: investigators say 28-year-old ahmad rahami is the man behind the bombing in new york that injured 29 saturday. his exact motive still a mystery but his method is clear. we have every reason to believe this was an act of terror. >> reporter: his picture was blasted to cell phones asking peopal new jersey area to help find him. one man showed me the surveillance video he offered to police. he says shows him pulling luggage behind him believed to contain the second device found in new york. that pressure cooker with a phone attached reportedly had his fingerprints on it. jane is the new yorker who spotted the suspicious device and called police. do you feel like a hero? no. anyone would have done that. >> reporter: investigators say evidence ties him not only to the chelsea bombing and the

okay? >> anchor: his acquaintances are also speaking out about his capture. 7's ryan schulteis joins us with that pat of the story. >> reporter: when a former classmate saw his picture plastered all over the news he couldn't believe it. chris said he went to high school with rahami in edison, new jersey and said he was fairly quiet, friendly, well question ded and cracked jokes. another man said he foes to the restaurant believed to be owned by the suspect's family and says hearing the news is surprising. i come something to eat. he is always in there, very friendly guy. that's what is so scary. it hits hard when it's home. the crazy part is that in ten years his personality at least from what he showed completely 10'd and heats goes from being just a normal kid to wanting to hurt people. >> anchor: so that former classmate said he is relieved he was caught so quickly by police.

yesterday completing six of nine passes without committing a turn over while displaying poise and composure beyond his years. jacoby is really a calm individual. he has been that way since we brought him in for his interview. we ride to put him under pressure when we first brought him in here, before the draft, and he didn't flinch then and really he is a give that is very difficult to plusser it. he is very poised. especially for a millenial all these kids. >> anchor: thanks to a monster homestand from hanley ramirez the red sox open up a four-game series in baltimore tonight. three glimpse up on the second place orioles, ramirez shrugged five home runs and drove in 12 runs on this recently pleated 7 game home earning co-al play of the week honors.
