garoppolo missing from today's practice. this walk through they had at the beginning while he joined the session later, he was limited with his right shoulder injury. so at this point it appear that is brissette will be the patriots starting quarterback two days from now against the texans. the rocky quarterback thes only true signal caller on the field to start practice. with nine passing attempts in over two quarter of nfl football on his resume he will have to deal with j.j.watt in his first career start. alex corddry spoke with brissette a short time ago and has more reporting live from foxboro, alex? >> reporter: joe, it looks likely brissette will make his first start against the 2-0 texans and if he is forced into the starting role he will be the first rookie quarterback since 1993 to start for the patriots. the last guy that did that was drew bled sew. brissette was one of the very first players out to the practice field today and during the media portion,
