but was there ever a point you were uncomfortable being in part of this? >> it was real wild. but we had a real sense of trust between the cast. when you have that confidence in each other, you can really let each other off the leash and go for it and trust that you're not going to get hurt by your fellow actors. but i think at times it was tougher for the guys doing the hazing than it was for us getting hazed. ev okay? andrew was trying to keep us separated. he kept telling us not to talk to each other. >> growing up in the '80s, the guy who played johnny in "karate kid." he must get heat when he just walks down the street. these guys, they're going medieval. like i said. is there a message? social media have all kinds of comments. you aren't giving a referendum or fraternity life here. >> the film is not an indictment of fraternities, by any means.
